I was on Baylor last week + points against Nebraska. That turned out not to be a very good bet. But, once again, I think Baylor is a pretty good bet.

This is the matchup of Baylor and Iowa State. These are the two worst teams in the Big 12. This is sh*tty team vs. sh*tty team.

The numbers:

Iowa's Offense Away scores 10.3 ppg. Iowa's Defense Away allows 24.0 ppg. Iowa averages 96.4 rushing yards away @ 2.4 rush/per attempt. Iowa away averages 189 passing yards @ 12.9 per attempt. Iowa averages 2.7 turnovers away. Iowa scores 2.3 ppq in 4th quarter Away.

Baylor Offense Home scores 23.7 ppg. Baylor's Defense Home allows 20.3 ppg. Baylor averages 113.3 rushing yards home @ 3.0 rush/per attempt. Baylor home averages 175 passing yards @ 10.4 per attempt. Baylor averages 2.3 turnovers. Baylor scores 9.0 ppq. in 4th quarter @ home.

The point is these two teams are pretty even. They are both not very good. Baylor is a home dog. Iowa is as bad as it gets on the road. Might as well take the points with this game.

I am not saying this is a 5* play, but if you are a degenerate, and need a fix, take Baylor.

I like the play. Baylor looks solid I just can't get myself to bet on them. ISU is horrible though.

LOL...i agree...these teams are terrible...but I think baylor is less terrible...

MJ -I like the play. When I first saw the line I assumed Baylor was on the road. I'm shocked they are getting this much at home vs Iowa St. Baylor tends to be able to hang with or beat the other sorry teams when they are at home. They are capable of doing some things. They have struggled to put the ball in the end zone against good teams, but should be ok this weekend.

Love it. Baylor is a good home dog, wouldn't be surprised if they won outright like they did against Colorado last year. GL
