yeah I don't know I might not take a shot at these this year, The Day After Tomorrow looks like it has a good shot but +150 just isn't that appealing to have to wait for months to see the results. Troy at +450 looks decent since it is the most anticipated movie for many, but, Gladiator didn't set any box office records to say the least so I don't know if it's even worth taking a shot at. Now can The Polar Express pull off a Finding Nemo surprise finish at +2500?

Yeah... I was thinking about Shark Tale. It's got some big stars attached to it. Plus M. Night Shyamalan is very popular and The Village comes out in Summer, same time Signs pulled in 60 million. Troy is #1 on all the lists. Looks good. I might snag it before the odds drop.

Are you kidding me. The Terminal, 40 to one odds? Speilberg and Hanks with a great sounding story behind it? The odds should drop some on this one.

Garfield is #1 on Moviefone already... months in advance. The buzz for this is huge. 25/1 odds.

Apparently The Day After Tomorrow is being released on a Thursday, while Van Helsing and Troy are coming out on Fridays. Troy will do better than Van Helsing, imo, as some people, including myself, will be reluctant to shell out 10 bucks for another Mummy 2-type snore-fest. And, while The Day After Tomorrow is predicted to beat out Troy in the long run by most people, having it's first day of release not count in it's 3 day tally against Troy's first 3 days, well, I'd say Troy has a shot at pulling off a bigger Friday-Sunday weekend. +450 ain't looking too bad. I'm on it for 1 unit.

Damn, I already bet...

I'm going to open another account in my sisters name and bet the limit on TROY also. That little fag Orlando Bloom will bring out the girls too. Plus Brad Pitt. The plot will bring out the guys. Good Call, Oren.

Punisher is high on the Buzz charts. It's +10000... not saying it's going to win... but can you imagine... 100 would win you back 10 grand. It is a comic book. You never know.

Gil:

I gotta agree with you on that one. Trailer for it looks good, like it's not a comic book movie. Plus I'm sure there will be a new Spidey trailor attached which will help. 100:1 is worth a risk.

Punisher has a bit of indie/b-movie look to it. Plus it is being released by lions gate so this is not exactly a huge budget film. But is does have Travolta in it. I put $10 on it for the hell of it.

Could be. I'm looking forward to Van Helsing myself. Regarding Troy... Brad Pitt does some pretty lousy acting in the trailer. Anyone agree?
