Batman vs Superman Review: Critics Once Again Overreacting

Saw Batman vs Superman: League Of Justice this weekend.

Although not spectacular, it's far from being as bad as all of the moronic critics are making it out to be.

However, it does make you wonder how something so epic & long-awaited could not been so much better.

I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

Curious to hear the rest of you thoughts when you see it/if you've seen it...

I agree, could have been better but wasn't awful. Hopefully it laid enough groundwork for Justice League to get started and it can jump right into that

FOR GODS FKNG SAKES,,,, if I have to watch ANOTHER 20 FKN minutes of bruce waynes family being murdered, IM GONNA go Murder a family,,

I really think that whole scene needs to end for gods sakes,,, and take that SNORESVILLE 20 minutes out and get that movie pumping,, WE ALL know the bruce wayne story, my 10 year old nephew knows the dam story, my 6 year old neice knows the fkn story, my mom who is 73 and doesnt watch those "nonsense" movies knows the fkn story,

I Lean to ALWAYS giving superhero movies an extra point or 2, just because its the world I grew up in with comic books and dreams,,, having said that,,, it is a 5 out of 10,,, and Im being kind,,, first 30 minutes,, I wanted to put a gun in my mouth,,

I haven't followed all the different super hero movies.

I think the term Justice league is referenced somewhere. I always thought it would be cool to have The Legion of Doom involved.

Superman doesn't like Batman's style of vigilante justice. Especially in this movie, where an older Batman has become more brutal & curmudgeony (Batman even brands some criminals with his bat-symbol).

Batman thinks Superman is too powerful. How can you trust an alien to be 100% good? Nevermind all the powerful enemies (and destruction) Superman brings to Earth.

In the comics, they've fought a few times.

Also in the comics, Batman keeps intelligence on every Justice League member. Their strengths, and their weaknesses. Just in case he has to stop them.

Justice League is clearly teased in the movie. There's a 3-minute scene that is *blatantly* shoved into the movie. "Hey folks, coming soon, here are your Justice League heroes!"

To a lesser extent, they also tease Legion of Doom (Lex Luthor babbles some gibberish).

Of course, that's one of the reasons for Batman v Superman --- lay the foundation for DC Universe movies, and all the characters (similar to Marvel's Avengers).

Dawn of Justice

I liked it, for a DC movie, I didn't have high expectations for it so I thought it was better than I expected.

Wonder Woman was the best part, and I thought Affleck did a good job, on the fence about Eisenberg tho, but LL is suppose to be a maniac I heard, I just never read many Batman comics so wouldn't know, I'm more of a Marvel guy

I was happy with the fight scenes, Batman got his ass kicked which should happen, and I really liked the weapons he made to defeat Superman

I give it a 6.5/7 out of 10
