16 years old, hits 570 foot bombs and throws 96 MPH. May get his GED so he can be drafted and may be in the big leagues by age 18.

Once in a generation prospect. Considered the Lebron James of baseball.

Will be on the cover of SI's June 8th issue.

Do you have to be a high school grad to be drafted? Is there any age limits? Could he just be drafted and plan now, if he and a team wanted to?

In that clip he's got a very long swing. That may be because he's trying to generate a ton of power as it looks like BP but still. His back foot actually "strides" forward as well. Very odd.

Let's see how he does with a wooden bat first. And apparently they don't test for PED's in high school either.. just sayin'.

Matt Wieters, Steven Strasburg, Evan Longoria. I do know they're all six to seven years older, still how many once a generation talents have there been in baseball history? Ruth, maybe Williams and a drugged up Barry Bonds. Don't think we should be putting a 16-year-old into that class quite yet

Skimmed through the SI article and like most SI articles it is pretty good

As a previous poster so astutely mentioned, let's see what he does with a wooden bat. I'm still amazed that aluminum bats are still used. Completely ridiculous.

It also looks to me that this kid is juicing already. That won't last long. It's pretty clear he has a lot of talent but he also has a long way to go.
