Baseball Books (again)

There have been many threads detailing the best baseball books. My question is, of these, which ones do not appear to care about taking action that could be perceived as chasing 'steam'? In other words, they take all action and don't cancel accounts and/or even set limits (Besides Pinnacle of course)?
