He just said it, and Sutcliffe is a sharp color commentator...For those that still insist Bonds is lazy and can't still play the field I hope you were watching....

No question Bonds likes to admire his work...who can blame him?

You know baseball better than I do and so does Sutcliffe, but in Mudbone's opinion, here are the better fielding NL left fielders than Bonds (or at least equal):

Biggio - Houston
Sanders - St. Louis
Cabrera - Florida
Thomas/Marrero platoon - Atlanta

Now, I'm not saying these guys are better than Bonds in his early 90s fielding prime, but they are better or at least equal now.

Mud...I was just mocking the 'Bonds Bashers', its a rather obnoxious group , usually speaking nonsense about Bonds lack of hustle...

Np, I just like talking baseball and in no way consider myself an expert, just opinionated.

When Bonds was younger, no doubt he was one of the best defensive left fielders of all time. As he has aged, he has regressed defensively, but his increased offensive productivity has more than offset it. Obviously, when you anyone asks "Who is greatest player of all time", he makes the short list.
