I heard from someone who is close with the Sox that Manny,Nomar and Varitek are three of the nicest guys he has dealt with in his career. I think that Manny is one of the hardest working guys in sports. In NY the guy used to jog at 5 in the morning with a freakin TIREstrapped around his waist. Just look at the way the ball spins after it hits his bat.It's as if he wills it to go where he wishes.
I heard that he is the best tipper and really nice to everyone. He hasn't gotten a big head and is so down to earth. I forgot about the batboy Rob. Is that classy or what! People get on his case WHY I don't know. He may have a little problem upstairs but it is not much worse than mine.
