Now on to todays play.. Toronto Blue Jays (-1.05) laying $525 here to win $500.. Guys we have it all in this matchup, Davis with good record against the O's, Johnson has been beaten up by the Jay's.. Toronto is the better team,, they should have gotten their kinks worked out last night by pounding the tigers.. these teams are about the same over the last 10, toronto holds the season series edge.. Ill give more details later, as ive been running behind all day... We definately feel the Jays get the money in this one... however if they lose then i promise not to pollute this forum with one post until saturday evening or 48hrs from now...
SSI, we like the pick once again for today. Solid stats/reasoning to back it up, which is always good. Like you said, hopefully yesterdays solid effort and win with Halladay is enough to get the Jays out of the mini slump they were in and back to the 8-10 runs a game offense we love to see. Ok im going to ramble awhile and give some thoughts on the A.L games for today,, i have no comment on the A's/sea game as i was away and missed it altogether... as for the others,, no way could i play the angels or royals games,, i dont lay that kind of juice on a daily basis, so that eliminates those games from my consideration but yes i will say it,,,, the royals and angels should win.. now the bos/tb game is a little different story,, if i had to take a side then the value is on TB,, gonzalez is not bad and no way i lay -1.60 with wakefield,, however this is tb/bos we are talking about,, so ill take a pass on it.... the only other game that id consider is clev, i have it rated a #6 on my scale, so it is a slight play,, you get sabathia and he is going against a very cold team in the twins.. however since im only going with one today, it has to be the Jays a solid #8 on my scale... sorry for the jiberish but im off the rest of the day,, wife and kids are at amusement park,, so baby - im home alone and free..... only left to pump some iron and wait on the Jays and blab to you guys... im planning on making $500 bucks tonight guys, so im getting excited.. ive picked em for over $6000 since the first game of the CWS with these banishment plays.. and dont plan on letting up..
NL games, no way i touch dodgers,, too much chalk on a cold team.. the Phillies were my 2nd choice today and have them rated a #7,, we like myers over zambrano although zambrano has not been bad,, but we feel the phils are hotter, they are at home, they are slightly the better team and we feel they will win,, toronto just happened to score higher on my scale, thats the only reason the phils werent the play today...... no way id get on the braves even though they are my team (which keeps me from going against them).. vargas is good guys,, reynolds has sucked guys,,, any reason to lay money on braves,, however i hope they win bigtime.... we think colorado gets the win tonight and we have no comment on the Astros game,, --- just think if the Jays lose then i wont get to post this crap until saturday evening.... later.

thanks guys,, back from the gym, about an hour until gametime,, looks like the O's are now a slight favorite,, this has to be a play for Johnson and against Davis, mostly against Davis.. all other indicators point to Blue Jays,, this has the makings of a high scoring game.. we like the Jays in those as well.. The O's may pound Davis, thats a possibility,, however in our opinion all he has to do is keep them under 5.. We think the Blue Jays put 6 on the board easily tonight... write that down, the Jays will get at least 6.. we also still like the phils to beat the cubs,, everything that i look at and trust, says phils but i dont have a penny on them..
Blue, i suck at totals,, i only play them now every blue moon.. baltimore 18-23 at home, Jays 25-19 on road... Jays 2-0 this year at Camden yards, and have won 16 of the last 21 there,, thats powerful guys,, along with Johnson completely sucking against the Jays,, have you guys looked at his stats against the Jays,, 0-7 and over 7 ERA..
we are in a bit of a dilema, i see.. this is my last post until saturday, unless we have a rally.. we read this one wrong, regardless of the outcome,, philly should have been our play. oh well there is still hope,, johnson definately outpitched davis and toronto did not have its mojo.. back to a more somber tone on saturday if we dont get a big rally... everyone take care.. catch you saturday 2head.. maybe.. nice call on AZ, i appear to be wrong there as well,,,, good thing about banishment plays is,, i cant chase, im gone til saturday, except for madcapper's contest.. good night..
SSI, games ain't over yet buddy(both the Tor and Arz). But we'll admit it doesn't look all that good for the Blue Jays right now. Their offense just couldn't get to Johnson the way we expected, the way they have in the past. Might be time for us to get off the Toronto bandwagon for awhile as they seem to be coming back to earth from an offensive stand-point. Remember, this is still the team that ALWAYS ALWAYS finishes 3rd behind the Yankees and Red Sox. Could be the stretch of the season where those 2 teams distance themselves from the rest. Just a thought, history always seems to find a way of repeating itself.
