TAKING A GOOD LOOK AT YOUR AUBURN TIGERS SATURDAY. I THINK THEY SHOULD EASILY COVER THE #

The more I look at this game the more confident I am in Auburn.
1) The Auburn team that played USC in LA last year is pretty much the same team this year, execpt now Auburn has a proven quarterback, experienced receivers, and plenty of depth. The USC team that played Auburn last year at home is not near the same team. They have lost many key players from last years team.

2) Auburn will have major fan support which will help in the duration of the game of course. USC will have to deal with a crowd of 87,000 that have been waiting for this game since early in the spring. One thing I am sure of is if USC is to win this game they better jump out early and big because if not they are in for a long game. I really don't see that happening with the inexperience at QB and other skill positions.

Going with Au -4 here. This is the biggest home opener in Auburn's history. More important to Tuberville than beating Bama. A career game.
Tiger defense is deep and fast. QB Campbell is very underrated. In the last scrimmage, under heavy blitz pressure from Dansby, he played calmly and brilliantly.
I'm just hoping Tuberville has big plans for the WMD of college RBs, Brandon Jacobs. See Mr Zamboni here at lineball.com.

I don't see Brandon Jacobs seeing to much PT in this game or in the first part of the season unless Auburn is blowing somebody out. He is running 4th out of the 4 right now but I expect him to progress as the season goes by though and see him as a major factor by the end of the year.

Have this game marked as an under bet for a long time. Haven`t seen a total yet.

yimmy9,

Yea, you're right, Jacobs is #4 now. He has the physical potential to be a legend. If Tuberville can find a way to use him to soften up and even intimidate the D he could be significant. Never mind his breakaway potential.
Tuberville's problem is keeping all the RB talents satisfied.
