I really want to take Balt +1.5. I've been doing terrible for the most part, so can I get some opinions por favor? Should I just skip this and chose a different game? Or is Balt a good choice?
And while you're here, what about my G MEN? Was -9 now at -8.5 but the Cowgirls are some lucky SOB'S. Don't think they win, but can my G MEN cover??? Thanks for the input fellas.

Clev. Giants might cover, they might not. All depends on if Eli throws another hissy fit or not.

Love my G MEN, but we're not exactly offensive machines. Not worried about Eli, worried about Gilbride's sceme. He didn't want to pass too much last week but will he have confidence in THE MANNING this week? Jacobs is a tank, but he's too damn slow. Not in love with our run game. With the exception of that Seattle game, if we win it's usually by 2-6. If it were 6 or less I would jump on em. But 8.5 is a lot for my guys. TC is so conservative. That's the only thing that worries me.
As far as Balt, I love that D!!! I need to get my drunk ass to bed and take a fresh look when I wake up. Appreciate the input.

Baltimore and Giants are good plays imho.

Ravens will fluster the clev offense, and dallas has no offense with johnson throwing.

Remember: 85% of the time, the straight up winner Covers! so dont think spread when picking nfl.

I'm a die hard Ravens fan. But I never play them unless I truly believe they will win. This is a game that will probably end up with the Browns winning by 7. Browns offense is not the same as the one the Ravens D trounced. I see the deep ball killing the Ravens today, it's always a weakness of theirs because their backs love to take big risks for the pick 6.

agree...I'll say this if the Ravens win they are legit and will hang around with a chance for a playoff spot.

Cleveland was a DOG that won outright last week, that if favored this week. Historically that is a FANTASTIC fade.

Baltimore has a beast defense, and defense travels. GL

Where was Baltimore's beast of a defense when the colts blew them out?

Like a guy said earlier, they can't stop the deep ball.

Derek Anderson is no Peyton Manning. Manning was just playing pitch and catch with Starvin Marvin.

Braylon Edwards is a beast, but he has stone hands. He will end the year #1, #2, or #3 in drops depending on how many Owens and Plexiglass drop.

Plus, Indy was at home and the Indy offense is just fast/explosive on the turf. Cleveland I don't think has the same speed on O as Indy-- PLUS (and this is a big one) this is a huge rivalry game. This game is going to be close and I think the better defense prevails.

I was surprised to see that clev wasn't even a FG better at the opening pointspread

This is win that clev needs badly. If they can't win at home vs flacco theres always next year.

Good point about Bal being on the road AND the game being on turf. That is so often overlooked by people.

I agree that if the game is low scoring and close, it more favors Baltimore's tempo and style of winning games. They are used to the low scoring defensive bouts.

Baltimore's run defense gives up over 75 yards per game less than Clevelands. I figure if Rice can run the ball, but Jamal Lewis will have problems, that gives Baltimore a big field position advantage.

Anderson is better than Flacco, but the dude has had his problems this year, and I don't think Baltimore is a good team to fix them against.

I think Baltimore wins outright, but 2 points in a low scoring defensive fight are much appreciated.

Bal run d gives up ~ 64 yards per game
Clevenad run d dives up ~ 140 yards per game.

Now tell me which offense will be able to move the ball easier?

Yep, I don't think the points will matter either-- besides, this line is just begging you take Cleveland

The only thing about Balt is they don't play with the same intensity when they go away as they do at home. They only beat a miami team away from home because Miami has no passing game.

Odds makers love setting say a 2.5 point line so that people will try and take the favorite ( Hey it's under 3!).

I still think Baltimore is able to move the ball on the ground, while Cleveland will have to rely on more passing game ( with winslow banged up). Running the ball is less prone to turnovers, sacks etc. and it sets you up for the play action.

Clevland won't get much on 1st and 2nd downs from Lewis on that top notch ravens run d, and they will have to throw on 3rd and 7's +.

Baltimore will get more on 1st and 2nd downs, and will have easier 3rd down conversions for Flacco.

GIJOE- Baltimore will get it up for the hated Division rival Browns.
