BAD LINE ALERT SYSTEM

Shrink, would it be possible to set up a bad line alert system whereby bookmakers could post(perhaps in the Offshore Bookmakers Forum)that a bad line situation exists in their book. The prescription is always manned by at least one moderator, and the moderator would then alert all the posters about the bad line. Shrink, you are an Internet bigwig, and I think you could set up such a system.Of course, the bookmakers would still have to cancel the bets on their own computers; they would not be relieved of this responsibility. This would remove all controversy, because the post would be time stamped. Let us know if this is feasable.

Exilarch - it's early and I am half awake but what are you suggesting? If the books know they have a bad number post it here to alert others? Why would they post it here instead of just fixing it on their end? Seems like a lot of work. Pardon me if I am missing something.

*** slaps patrick to wake him up a little....

I think what he means is , when a book has a line error, they will go back and correct and cancel at their end but he would like the posters notified in case they have a bet on it, that they then can go back and change their bet or make another....assuming the player makes his plays then doesnt revisit the book's site til his plays are over.....

(he is a good little poster Patrick, he makes his bets then hangs out here during the games)

thats what we like....

Instead of calling the player or sending an e-mail they post it here? Or if they can't get hold of him post it here as back-up? Okay that makes sense. Told you I am half awake.

ex,
I always tell the book if they have an error - just ask Ted about them dozen or so times

although you are probably an honest player, many are not and would try to abuse the knowledge of a bad line.

my advice - tell them privately, they may even comp you
