The rankings below is the order I would rank the top College Football teams, through week 5, if I was on the playoff selection committee. I will update this chart after the completion of each week until the end of the regular season.

Here we go, Hawkeyes! I will be at the Iowa-Northwestern game next Saturday. Should he a sweet one. Hope NU beats Mich in the big house and Iowa takes care of Illinois so it can be a matchup of undefeated teams.

Big emphasis on not just how many wins a team has but the quality of those wins. That's exactly what the playoff committee looks for when preparing their rankings. These will obviously change depending on teams wins and losses and strength of schedule. I can guarentee you thatmy rankings will be close to the committee's weekly top 10 when they are released. I will update my rankings each week.

Yeah, based on record and SOS Clemson is #1. No Michigan yet. They should appear when they start playing a few tougher opponents and the loss @ Utah didn't help them.
