My grandfatherwas a colonel in WWI. My dad flew bombers in WWII. I guess at 19 I was naive. curious. In retrospect, maybe too many stories from my dad. What I saw, young guys, dead, missing limbs, horribly disfigured. Now I'm against the military industrial complex. The people that make money, by putting us in war situations. Spending our 'treasure' for profit, using up kids who don't know better. Or worse, kids failed by our education system, that don't have a lot of options. I don't blame the government. (THE WHOLE GOVERNMENT). FWIW, I believe JFK wanted us out of Vietnam, 1963, And that got him killed.
The estimates are we spent 170 billion on weapons and other materials, Just in Vietnam.. BUT>>>when you factor all costs, disability, death benefits, it reaches almost 1 trillion dollars. 3% of our national debt. And thats just vietnam. And the sad thing, the profiteers, the ones that make the money, don't pay a nickle for GI benefits, or any of the ongoing help programs for vets living in the street.

Lastly, GI bill put me through 3 years of med school. I'll be 80 this year, OLD GUY, but I can still start crying remembering guys I knew, went to school (in army) that were killed. 120 in our graduating class, 20 died in 2 mortar attacks. Mortaring hospitals where they worked. Or worse the people who were turned into monsters you couldn't look at.

Our country is the greatest in the world. The government doesn't mistreat anyone. People in government, that have lost their way, been turned by party loyalty or profit. They deserve our scorn.
My dream, is I will see a government that puts aside the thirst for power, and decides to put the people first and foremost. A lot has changed, government wise, just in my lifetime, I'm hoping we can find our way back.

bol 2 all.
I can actually thank YOU for your service

Overview of the Turning Point USA Halftime Show

Turning Point USA is hosting an alternative halftime show called the "All-American Halftime Show" on February 8, 2026. This event is designed to counter the Super Bowl halftime show featuring Bad Bunny, which has drawn criticism from some conservative fans.

Performers

The lineup for the All-American Halftime Show includes:
PerformerPerformance Time
Kid Rock8 minutes
Lee Brice7 minutes
Brantley GilbertApproximately 7 minutes
Gabby BarrettApproximately 7 minutes

Viewing Options

The show will be streamed on various platforms, including:
  • YouTube (TPUSA's channel and Charlie Kirk Show's channel)
  • Rumble
  • TPUSA's X page
Additionally, it will be available on several conservative networks, such as:
  • The Daily Wire
  • Real America’s Voice
  • Trinity Broadcasting Network
  • Charge!
  • The National News Desk
  • New Tang Dynasty (NTD)
  • One America News

Purpose and Message

The All-American Halftime Show aims to celebrate "faith, family, and freedom," according to Turning Point USA. The event is positioned as a response to what some perceive as an unpatriotic choice for the Super Bowl's main entertainment. Kid Rock, a prominent supporter of former President Trump, has expressed his excitement about the show, framing it as a David versus Goliath competition against mainstream entertainment.

If it was the other way around, the Democrats, the socialists, the globalists would organize at a NATIONAL LEVEL and all turn off the TV the halftime, which would also would eliminate seeing the commercials that companies paid gazillions for...

And say that unless the NFL takes said entertainer off the schedule, they will implement this halftime boycott, and the commercial sponsors will eat the gazillions of $$$$$$$$$.

I thought it was gonna be on an alternate TV channel but it appears that you have to stream it or something.

Maybe somebody more tech savvy can explain it to us.
