With only 11 seconds left, I was winning by 5 once in a college hoop game AND was getting +11- points. That's winning by 16.5 points with just over 10 seconds left in the game, how can I lose? Of course the other teams scores, steals the inbounds and gets fouled as he makes the lay-up, a 3-pointer the old-fashioned way. Goes to OT and we lose by 12. I know it's not a bad beat thread but I'm still pissed about that game, I need to vent whenever possible.

You should have bought up to +12, duh. Haha, j/k. That's got to be one of the worst, goddamn.

a couple of years ago the falcons were -5....game went into ot....we needed the dog with both hands....looked good for awhile

vick makes a 60 or 70 yard run that was just absolutely stupid.....for a td......

but then again...for every bad beat....someone on the other side is jumping for joy....

reminds me of the Steve Young run, very similar, his run was just as sick, vs Minnesota, and the 49ers covered because of it.

Completely agree with you, Illini. Some people think if their team had the lead at any point in the game, they deserve the win.

William Hung on American Idol. That dude was strummin to a bad beat. Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson. Iron Mike took a bad beating. I once mis-identified a mango at the salad bar. Turned out it was a bad beet. Oh, and the NJ Devils beat the Sharks 9-0 in the early '90s when I had the Under at 8.5. Bad frickin beat. What, were the Devils pressing hard to score that 9th goal when it was already 8-0? Insensitive jerks

I personally love overrated managers...and bullpens stocked with "depend-wearing" arms.

Northwestern last night had to be the worst beat of all time. They covered from the opening kick till the clock struck zeroes, and really were never in danger of not covering. I had OSU in a ML parlay, but NW was as clear of right side as you'll see. And to lose like that, wow.

Bad Beat. This is one. 99% of the others are just losses.

it was a classic

I had a small in game bet on NW ML +330, so I lost my bet on the 4th down play that was "challenged". The 4th down play was bad enough, but the incredibly stupid challenge ended the ML chances

Yes I was large on NW and this was most certainly a bad beat. No doubt about it.

Still stings this morning.
