Had Oregon money line last night to complete a 4 team parlay. Up 17 in the second half and up 9 with 1 minute left. Up 3 with 3 seconds left and they opt to foul. Ucla makes first free throw and does the intentional miss on the second. Of course UCLA puts back the rebound to tie. Guy even got fouled and missed the game winning free throw. Goes to OT and you know the rest of the story

Up three and fouling with 2.5 seconds left 75 feet from the basketball is probably the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I get fouling to prevent the three but not when the guy just got the ball completely on the other side of the floor with 2 seconds left. They would have to heave it to someone, and that person immediately shoot to have a chance and that's iffy to even get a shot off.
I had Oregon last night and I had Creighton -3 against Marquette. Creighton HAD THE BALL UP 3 with .08 seconds left. Remember, had the ball. They inbounds the ball and throw to the other side of the floor and nobody touches it and it goes out of bounds. So then Marquette gets the ball under their own basketball throws the ball in and the guy takes a three makes it, sends to overtime and of course they win and cover. I mean with the ball with .08 seconds left and up 3 and having a team -3 the worst you can do is push and a decent chance that all you have to do is inbounds the ball and then get fouled and probably make at least one FT and cover. But no, you throw the ball away and then give the ball back. To be on both of those losses, takes the cake. I have been doing this a long time and the Creighton and Oregon losses are as bad as I have ever seen. In fact, Marquette was never ahead the entire game against Creighton. Not one second! In fact, they only time they ever tied it was when time expired.
