Been a while but i'm back, hopefully I can get some steam rolling into the Tourney.

10 Unit Play:

Wisconsin ML -140: Yes I am biting on the squarest play of the night but really what is in the bet? Well aside from a belief that they will not post an L in three straight decisions. The real focus surrounds defense. Bo Ryan Defense that is, something that has been absent really for all of 2014 (aside from the NW win). What motored their perfect start was defense and they will get back to that against a team that turns the ball over quite a bit. I like Wisconsin by 2-4 points and in a surprisingly low scoring game 66-63.

1 Unit Plays:

Central Michigan +7

Illinois Chicago +5.5: Really think this is an outright winner here.

Best of luck with your play HD.

However, there is no possible way a play that you feel will win by 2-4 points can reasonably be rated 10 times your normal unit!

Just a math lesson for anyone interested in facts.

Minnesota is a very mentally tough team, coming off a road loss to Iowa, losing only 1 game at home (Michigan by 3), and posting home wins over Ohio st and a very tough FSU team. Yes Minny does turn the ball over but WI only avgs 5 steals a game, its not like the Badgers are going to exploit them. Minny out rebounds and gets more steals than WI. Not saying Wisky can't win this, but this is a game that I think comes down to last possession. Also, I don't see Minny getting beaten up at home, but I can make a case for them beating up WI. Just saying, this is not a huge play by me.

First Im pretty sure I followed you in MLB post season I believe and made a killing so thanks for that. I think there is a huge misconception about the amount of units that should be played and when. There is a difference between having a strong feeling about a blow out cover and a strong feeling about a win and it all boils down to value. I think the value at -140 for Wisconsin merits a 10 unit play. The idea here is that I do expect a win, I just can't rule out the grind it out close call that I expect (2-4 pts). Whether they win or lose there is no way to put a unit value on a play simply because you perceive a blow out over a win, they are one in the same. Whether Wisconsin wins by 1 point or 100 points I consider this a strong play meriting 10 units, that is for them simply to win in any manner. Its situational, coming off 2 straight L's and I really like the match up. This is the rare play that I will risk a 10 spot on a game. Thanks for the input.

Hoosier I too am on Wisky in the ML. Your write up is spot on, back to basics which is defense, defense, defense. Wisky snaps two game skid on the road tonight.

My plays are far from perfect (obviously). I am however pretty much a math wizard. If you guys think a game you fully expect could boil down to just over one bucket.... then, by all means, unbuckle, stack up ten units, and go for it.
Best of luck.
