This is similar to the TV that we had SportsOptions running on at the bash (except that one was 42 inch).

That TV is now in my office and looks great!

Yeah, most of the Posters here said that LG & Samsung are pretty good TV's
So that's what I've been looking at lately.

I have a 42" TV for another room, I need a 32" to go in the Living room
which has a Wall Unit that was custom Built.
If it wasn't for the cost of the Wall Unit, I would have got rid of it and went for a 50+"

from the horses mouth.. 720p 1080i is fine for cable/satellite feeds. Really only blue-ray picks up the 1080p.. 60hz on a 32" is great you won't notice any difference unless you go up in size. Since you have the custom made cabinetry he said pick it up.
He said warranty is your call, safe side pick it up. Workers do not earn commission on warranties at best buy.

on a side note, they price match. Someone good with computers could find, create a similiar advertisement from somewhere else save you some cash to lay on the Bears over the Seahawks =0)

On a 32 inch you wont notice a differences between 720p and 1080p since the set is to small to even tell the differences. You only need to be concern about getting 1080p on anything that is 42 or larger

if a tv only has 720p it must be quite old no?

Djmatt is correct, however most have at least 1081i right now.

while DJmatt is correct i would be concerned that a tv with only 720p might have a very old picutue tube... (or whatever u call them nowadays).....

the older picture tubes are more subject to burn in than the new ones

especially on plasma

720p and 1080i is the same thing. It's just marketing.

really, didnt know that...

either way, a tv that is advertised as 720p rather than advertised as 1081i may have an older tube in it.

just sayin.... something to check.

this may also be the reason why its very cheap
