This was sent to J.J.Bascus early this morning from Back Room Benny Jew Brooklyn Heights N.Y.[24-7-2]. A fellow handicapper and friend of ours, also [posts with J.J. Bascus power ratings and picks. Mellow Rose 5 handicapper contributor . Along with System Smitty Ryan Jr.>22-8-1, Bee Bee Black Widow[ L.V.] 25-10-2> HarrytheHat [19-5-1] Johnny Fingers Branagan Reno N.V 24-7-2. A Thursday game you might want to bet on? The Browns may be 5-3 and on a three-game winning streak, but they haven't exactly been traversing a murderess row of opponents, with wins against Tampa Bay,Oakland and Tennessee on their ledger. Against this inferior competition,Cleveland's defense is ranked 21st in the league, allowing 5.7 yards per play. Now,they face a Bengals team that is 14-3-1 ATS over its last 18 home games. We also cannot forget the fact that they have to slow down a Bengals offense that has weapons like A.J. Green and Jeremy Hill. The Bengals allow just 6.4 yards per attempt, which is fourth in the NFL.comparing defenses. The Cleveland Browns own the league's No. 29-rated front 7 in terms of stopping the run, allowing 153.67 yards per game when on the road. Cincinnati,on the other hand, rates No.1 this week in generating rushing yards at home. They have also forced 10 interceptions, so Hoyer will need to be weary of where he delivers the football. According to J.J. Bascus power rating differential comparison Cincy is 5.5-points better on a neutral site, making this point spread feel awfully cheap. Bengals -6 or 6 1/2 is the play. Bengals should take advantage of home field and earn a win and cover at -6 or 6 1/2. About the only thing to watch tonight will be Cincy scoring.Cleveland has failed to win a AFC North road game since 2008, which makes Cincinnati the clear choice as the NFL Thursday Night pick at Paul Brown Stadium. I have no faith in the Browns at all.

Both teams have injuries but the Browns much bigger problems since losing their center. Plus the Bengals have emotional purpose tonight.... Will Green finally get the better of Harden? If Big Red can get AJ a decent night and not throw picks then it's hard to see Cincy not getting the DD win. GL Harry and Benny! My hat's in the ring with you!

First of all, Harry, I love your info and input and try to check it every week...

Maybe I am reading it wrong, but I'm a little confused on the writeup above, which says the Browns are 21st while allowing 5.7 yards per play but the Bengals are 4th while allowing 6.4 yards per play?? Is this a typo?

Regardless, BOL tonight and thanks for all you do
