I know t doesn't mean anything to a lot of you guys but I say the more turf racing carded the better.

One day Michel soon Laurel will be closed. State of MD renovating Pimlico.

They've always had meets go back and forth between Laurel and Pimlico for years, Jack. Of course the meet will be in Pimlico by the Preakness like always. I assume the renovations will be done by then.

Do you mean that they are closing Laurel forever?

My bad yeah one day Laurel will cease racing forever. Not sure when but think within next 2 years. PIMLICO WILL be owned by the state of MD AND racing will be a non profit deal in MD. That is the way I understand it.

I agree with you Mich., just look at some of the prices at Keeneland today on the turf, we just need to handicap those big hits.

We'll get our share, Joe. Those two nice longshots I had on Sunday were on firm turf, just what I said I was looking for at the top of that thread.

The turf fields are usually fuller and of course that pushes up prices.

The bombs were popping at Keenland today? Love it.

shades on $100 winner. did not play any of turf races from KEE today. Would have liked to have post one of those bombs but doubt I would have.

I didn't see anything in that $100. horse, but that $50. horse was trying turf for the first time and that's an angle I looked at but I didn't play it, screwed that up.
