This is a copy of my last NFL post last season.

"Prime time overs finish the season 37-12. These are the figures for the picks I posted here. Anyone can go back and check these figures if they question them. I'll be back with these next year looking for two good years in a row. Happy new year to everyone."

And here we go, back with them for this year. Some of you may remember that I also posted Inter Conference OVERS last year. They did not do anywhere near what I expected from the year before, just winning juice after a bad 0-4 first week. I may start posting these again this year, but only if they have been winning.
Prime time OVERS were great and I'll be posting them in this one thread so it's easier to go back to see how they are doing.

IT WENT OVER. We start 1-0. Who would of guessed at the end of the third quarter. I was ready to watch Fear the Walking Dead. One of our better wins in spite of Romo running the clock down to 1 second before snapping the ball.

And doogieboy. I hope you played it tonight because I did not post these last Thursday. In fact, if you go back and check my posts from last year, you will see that the majority of Thursday night games, were NOT Over plays. NOT EVERY PRIME TIME GAME IS AN OVER PLAY AND NOT EVERY OVER PLAY IS ON A PRIME TIME GAME.

Not trying to steal your thunder or anything, but i'm simply tracking SNF & MNF OVERs. Are you going to be tracking all the OVERs? If so, i'll just get the thread to be deleted. Thanks Sandman.

Congrats. I came into this season attentive to this as well from last year, and one other situation from Last Season that I'll be "mindful of"....that tracked well also or at least was on a very positive course at some point within the season...got onto it about 1/2 way thru last season and that IIRC cashed with a few times...picking one's spots as you imply, "filtering". I don't recall the numbers but I think it will interest you and it was
"Sunday Night Visitor" PLAY OV in their next game.

Investigate it if you feel like it, see how it did LY....it MAY have been "Thursday Night Visitor" but I'm pretty sure it was Sunday Night....so...you seem to have an interest in these system type plays if thats the case you won't mind, would even enjoy tracking back to see what the O/U record was....might be a 2nd little Mini System or "Sub-System" for you....

Investigate Sunday Night Visiting team OVER in their next game then look into Thursday Night to make sure I haven't confused SNF Visitor with TNF Visitor.

Will be interesting to see how the lengthened FG's thus increased 2 pt. trys impact O/Us and the setting of those lines by the books....

The Thursday Night Total Goes like this, whoever is the Home team on Thursday then You play the over on their next game whether they play home or away. So New England played Home last Thursday. So we Play OVER this coming week in the NEW ENGLAND/BUFFALO BILLS game. It does not matter if they are home team or away team in the next game. As long as you know who the Home team is on the Thursday night the week before.

Moneyline Dog You did confuse the two and also one other thing. It's Thursday Night and it's the Home Team. So, PLAY OVER THE NEXT GAME THE THURSDAY NIGHT HOME TEAM PLAYS, which is usually a week after the following Sunday.

varkeyboy. I'm going to include the Thursday Home Team plays with the Sunday and Monday Prime Time plays, tracking both together. If I find the Inter Conference games are going OVER like they did two years ago, I may start posting them again but will always track them separate from the Prime Time/Thurs Home Team plays. Hope that helps.

Good question ballerhanz. That's why it took me until now to decide, since it's still afternoon here, but since most of the game will be played in Prime Time in Atlanta, I'm posting and playing both. One reason I think these games go Over as often as they do, is because the players know all the other players are watching and play harder and better, which I think helps the offense more. Just a thought. SO ...............

TONIGHTS PLAYS

PHILLY/ATLANTA OVER 55.5
MINNY/SAN FRANCISCO OVER 42.2

I would wait awhile to play the Niner OVER because 42 is a key number, while 43 isn't. It may drop a half point which would be good, but if it goes the other way, a half point rise shouldn't matter anyway.

To Date: 1-0

Went 1-2 last week. We were lucky with Dallas but a missed FG by Philly cost us a chance for Atlanta to have to score for the win and the Over.

TODAYS PLAYS

NEW ENGLAND/BUFFALO OVER 44.5
SEATTLE/GREEN BAY OVER 49

YTD 1-2

Plays are now 2-2 after this mornings Over. As I said in my first post here, I'm tracking the Inter Conference Overs to see how they are doing, but I am NOT playing them yet. There was only 1 Inter Conference game today, which went Over. After going 2-2 last week, these plays are now 3-2, not good enough to play yet. Need the Prime Time Green Bay game to go Over to make up for last weeks 1-2.

Weren't there 2 interconference overs? HOU/CAR and SF/PIT? Obviously, SF/PIT went over, but it depends on what book and line you had for CAR/HOU. I still think this is a trend worth tracking.
