Why?

Are you wondering what you should be getting for your money, or are you in the industry trying to gauge the deposits at your place?

IMHO: it varies a hell of a lot on whether the book is post-up or credit, and what type of action they are trying to get. I'm not convinced there is a useable 'industry' average.

I am suprised. Would have thought it to be at least a nickle or more. So what would be the median straight bet wager? Just curious thats all.

MrJones makes a good point here referring to the MEDIAN.

Much better than AVERAGE...... rather were referring to deposits or bet size.

That's what these books want you guys to deposit. That's why they offer all these other benefits that go along with depositing thousands. You guys have to be smarter then them. Deposit $100 and make some money in the long run. DONT deposit thousands and lose it in 1 month.

How much did that one site make in profit this year alone? 24 million? hmmm..

Yea sounds about right, average deposit is thousands.

Interesting point. We should define "average" for sake of argument. Are me talking pure mean? median? or something else?

No I am not in the business, I was just curious...I only have one friend that makes off shore deposits and we both are normally in the $250-$500 range, but I was just curious as to what the average deposit was. I didn't want to start an argument over median, average etc...I just mean what does the "Average Joe" deposit, that's all.
