Avatar Size Limits

I don't know if this has been pointed out to any of the administrators before, but some people have extraordinarily large avatars.

There are a couple problems with this besides my own distaste for them.

1.) It is a pain in the ass for people using lower resolutions.

2.) Bigger avatars usually means a bigger file. Users on 56k will be at a disadvantage.

3.) It warps the table layout.


I'd like to recommend imposing a size limit .. something in the area of maybe 120x120 pixels.

i agree they look stupid. give the place a very bad cosmetic look. thats why i have avatars off. go to user CP, and options if you would like to do the same.

they arent avatars anymore theyre dorm room posters at this point.

Agree the 120x120 pixels should be the max allowed

I was wondering how to get an avatar to be smaller,I tried putting a picture from my pictures area as an avatar but it wont work , too big, is all it says.

Save the avatar to a photo editor, even PAINT on your PC, then edit it. Try that.
