Automatic Transmission problems. Need referral to a good mechanic.

Hello. I am experiencing problems with my vehicle's automatic transmission. My reverse gear has stopped working altogether even. Any good leads for reliable car mechanic that specializes on automatic vehicles? I will much appreciate any help.

get rid of the car and get a manual. They are expensive as hell to fix here. Mine went out i just sold the car for parts and got a stick. i was going thru 2 sets of brakes a year plus it got shitty gas mileage. automatics just arent good in the country.

I also had one (automatic) and now I went TDi and stick and am very happy!!
