Been watching him since he was on the USA Under 17 team. Lots of talent but his head has to stay out of the way. You could tell last night when he scored 4 goals that there was absolutely no emotion. If he and Nylander can grow together they can grow into one of the best tandems in the NHL. Also remember Mathews skipped College and Juniors and went and played in the Swiss league. Not normal for a US born player.
