The White Sox come into this game playing some good baseball. They’re only 7 games out of the Division, and 6.5 out of the Wild Card. I know I know, it’s a long-shot, but still possible with guys like Jose Abreu & Chris Sale on your squad. They won 2/3 in Detroit and are hungry to come home and to win 2/3 or sweep the Twinkies. Who better to start off a series for the White Sox? In his career vs. Minny, Sale is 6-1 (and 2 saves, haha) with a filthy 2.08 ERA in 56.1 innings and a ridiculous 61 K’s. Sale is 7-1 w/ a 1.90 ERA at home this year...5-1 and a 1.73 ERA at NIGHT this year. Last time out against @ Minny (July 26), he went a strong 8 innings, 5 hits, 0 earned runs, and 12 K’s! Oh by the way, guess who the White Sox faced that day? You got it...Logan Darnell. He’s going to get lit up again and I will continue to ride the success of Chris Sale when he’s on the mound. It’s a big 2U play to start the month of August! Cheers.
