Auburn - Kansas State

Not sure if 9.5 is enough for Kansas State. I know they have been good at home, as a dog. But to me, these are two different classes of teams. Gus has had a bye week to prepare for this game. They have LA Tech the week after. Kansas State will get Auburn's FULL attention.

Auburn has been flying under the radar being that they came within 10 seconds of winning it all and brought back a lot of players. I think they make a statement here and beat a ranked Kansas State team by 20+ on National TV.

Ha! You NEVER bet on KSU games based on talent. They've had the 49th, 56th and 59th ranked recruiting classes the last 3 years. About on the level of a good MAC program. If you bet against KSU based on talent alone, you would be a poor man.

K St started out great against Iowa St and then went downhill. I think Auburn's attack is a little better than Iowa St's. One thing K St may not be good at is playing from behind. We shall see.

I'd like to see a total in this one, neither team that impressive on D but much better with the ball. Got to hand it to the Tigers for holding the Hogs to 21 and the Aztecs to 13, one a running team and the other passing, but in hostile territory, I can see both teams scoring at will in this one.

The bye was probably a little more helpful to KSU coming off that hard fought win over ISU. This is a pretty tough game to cap. But the one mistake that I've seen the books make on this game was Bet Online coming out with that Auburn -6 line. That was WAY too low considering the GOY line on this game was -11. So a huge mistake there by BOL by almost a TD. But it was quickly bet up, and is now more in the normal range where it belongs. It might go a click higher. But everyone knows that the ESPN home dog factor has been big in the past.

Had to check that shit out since I'm a stat man and I believe you're correct. That's gotta be some kind of record. 21 teams unbeaten against the spread so far this season, Auburn obviously one of them. Thx.

the line reminds me of games where they are begging you to take a team. In this case, Auburn. I'm not saying I'm going to do anything in this game, but it is obvious in this thread that there is no respect for KS. so,why is the line not higher?

13 straight covers for Auburn is correct but just one was as a RF in Tenn on 11/9/13. Since 2000 Auburn has a RF record of 11-11 ATS.

Line opened around Aub -9.5, interesting to see it tick down to -8.5. My # would have been Aub -10 so I think its pretty close, but under DD is gonna draw some Auburn $ one would assume as the week progresses.

If you are thinking about taking Kansas State, I would recommend you go watch the game tape against Iowa State. Their skill position players do not have the speed to compete with Auburn. Kansas State's QB is SLOWWWW. Auburn's LBs and DL are faster than that kid.

Auburn will get the majority of the money, but the books will get their fair share of K st action as people will blindly take the home dog on Thursday night. Others will take K St because of their track record as a dog. This one will not be close, IMO. GL with whatever you decide.

West Georgia got a good little offense...............I wonder if they have a Waffle House in Manhattan, Kansas considering Gus likes to go there to celebrate wins.....And I like my hashbrowns smothered and diced.
