The entire premise of the article is dead wrong. The lead up to a war is when oil prices increase only to DECREASE significantly after the war. Oil prices have already begun to drop (nearly 10%) in the past few days just on the news that the war would begin shortly.

Adolf and Japan did the exactly the same thing.
Invading countries so they could secure oil supplies in Romania/Russia and the Dutch East Indies.
But it's actually ok this time around, 'cos it's us freedom loving white folks who are doing the invading.
