1000% serious Sir. All of this can be easily controlled and it should be for the best interest of society, not just basketball.

It is common Dicky but that type of behaviour needs to be gotten under control as well and a game or a few games is not enough to Cease it. And it can be Ceased.
Well, what in the world did Ben Wallace do to get suspended for the year?

Hell, I'm glad he went after the skinny little punk... what gives someone the right to throw something at a player? Because they bought a ticket? That's BS... I bet the skinny little **** learned a lesson. If you throw something at someone then they have the right to beat your ass. Simple as that. That's what's wrong with this country... more people need an ass whipping.... then this type of BS wouldn't happen. That fat bastard in the jersey that came out onto the floor? I laughed my ass of when he got popped. He has no business on the arena floor. NONE.

Max,
Well said, I agree with you 100%. It's bad enough that these punks are allowed to say anything they want to the players but when they start throwing stuff they've crossed the line and deserve to have their asses whupped! I used to take my kids to NBA games in Phoenix...I wouldn't even think of going to an NBA game anymore. We need more jails in this country for some of those punks!

He reacted in a violent, raging, misconduct manner unless I seen it wrong. My opinion is posted, so is yours. Thanks for sharing. Any and all fighting should result in immediate season suspension. Simple solution to Cease it.

Dickyw,

I just assumed that Artest saw who threw it since he looking that way, from the camera angle I saw.... if not, then the kid should have boogied. The behavior of some of our youth in this country makes me nuts. Go to the mall and watch these wanna be gangsta's strut around.... I thought it was great that the Gotti punks got beat down for grabbing a girls ass. If more parents raised their kids correctly then this type of behavior wouldn't happen. Buying a ticket to a sporting event entitles a person to watch that event, not participate in it. My all time favorite NFL moment is when Mike Curtis on the Colts clotheslined that idiot that ran out onto the field.... classic.

Not sure who threw the beer but even in Artest's twisted mind he should have relized a full beverage would'nt land directly on his chest from 6 rows up. To be honest there was a women (who happened to be black) that was directly behind him who was taunting him, I actually thought she was the one. I just thought it was strange the way he ran through several fans to get to the skinny white guy who actually may have been holding a cup. The fat fvck on the floor should and was open game imo

Detriot is a tough city. Maybe Ronda Artest and Stephanie Jackson should stay home and do their hair if they can't handle a little rowdiness like professionals.

Goodbye you piece of ghetto trash.

I cant believe people are defending his and the pacers actions.. a fan throwing a beer does not warrant or excuse players going into the stands to attack. look what it started

Stephen Jackson and Jermaine O neal also deserve healthy suspensions for those cowardly sucker punches they threw at FANS
Artest 25 games
Jackson 12
O Neal 5

I couldn't agree with Max more. Artest and Wallace should get some sort of fine or suspension for what happened ON THE COURT. However, that punk that threw the cup at Artest deserved a good beating and some jail time.

I agree with Max ... suspensions are in order but arrest them. come on. He could surely argue self defence?

Exactly, Stephen Jackson took first swing in stands, IMO his suspension should be as long as Artest. Neither should be more than 10 though, although I think they might be.

General your comment that any fight should result in season ending is insane. Don't post stuff you don't even think is correct. Makes you look foolish and I know you aren't.

I agree, and I don't think Artest did anything wrong on the court thus his suspension shouldn't amount to much.

Who cares if the fan threw a cup? Technically, it's assault but if a woman throws a drink in your face at a bar, should she get jail time?
These temper tantrum baby players make me sick. If I'm rolling millions each year and some chump 9-5er throws his dixie cup at me, I would laugh at him, go take a shower, get in my hummer or lamborghini and go pick up some models to bang.
In the perfect world I would love to see Artest go into the stands in Raider Nation.....let the fun begin.

Artest did'nt throw a punch because the guy he grabbed was a little twit and he did a turtle when he saw him coming. If they only get 10 games something is very wrong in the league. It sends a message if some drunken clown wants to drench a player with beer the whole crowd is fair game.

Artest has a long history of being a sack of sh*t. He should be banned for at least one year, if not indefinately. Furthermore, Oneilandbob, Arrest and Jackass should be givens months of community service time in downtown Motor City.

Damn Lander finally a voice of reason!! The Detroit soup kitchen could use a couple of smart, hard working tough guys like Jackson & O'Neil:103631605

Dicky, even if the league doesn't do the sensible thing I have little doubt that JUSTICE will prevail. The Pistons have a long history of putting criminals like Artest in there place -- hell, they kicked the rapist around last year in the finals.
