ATLSLIM'S Saturday NBA Playoff Totals

Good day fellow gamblers! Excellent day for a wager or two!! Today in the NBA we have some decent matchups. I believe the bookmakers, unlike the regular season, look a little more at defense when setting lines. Whereby, during the regular season, make you pay to get the Over with teams like New York , Phoenix, etc.(making totals higher) Today, my numbers were a little higher than usual. Teams like Dallas are sometimes hard to peg, within 10 road games they score anywhere from 74 to 122 points. That is a big difference in production.San Antonio, on the other hand is more consistent(minus maybe an Indiana game or two)I think Dallas will challenge SA and won't get shut down, as SA has done so well in the past.I also think, Kevin Garnett is the key to the Celtics Defense. Minus him, the Celtics aren't as formidable,unless the bench steps up.This Chicago team will try to run the Celts. My plays for today:

Chicago/Boston Over 196
Dallas/San Antonio Over 185.5

Was leaning to the Under in Cleveland, but I see one of the best totals capper in the NBA forum, The Jackal, was on the Over. Must crunch some more numbers. Good Luck to All in this WAR with the books!!!!

I'll be on the Dal/SAS over. Had a small lean on the Chi/Bos over but the other games had more value.

EDIT: FWIW, I have Cle/Det at 183, Chi/Bos at 199, and Dal/SAS at 193.

Mr. Jackal, our system for capping these totals must be pretty similar. I have 199 for Boston, 194 for SA, and 180 for Cleveland. I sometimes go away from my number if other intangibles incline me to do so. Best of luck to you!! ATLSLIM

It's all about the defense. Even during the regular season.
