Haven't heard anything that would suggest that. I live near Philly and I had heard that DE was considering legalizing sports gambling. DE currently has slot machines and as neighboring states consider legalizing slot machines as well, DE sees sports wagering as a way to keep its competitive edge in the gambling arena. Here's hoping.

IMO any state that makes sports gaming legal on the eastern side of the US will definitely be generating some serious revenue. I would think the Congressional deligates from NEV would be opposed.

I was in Biloxi, MS two weeks ago and the Imperial has about 3,000 square feet dedicated to sports gaming. ( In anticipation only)

I hope it happends, maybe I can wait behind Senator Kyl to bet on the Redskins.

I remember years ago, Atlantic City considered sports betting but it wasn't done.

I'm also sure all the local bookies in NJ and Philly have methods of "influencing" it from not happening there.

It would be nice if Biloxi was able to get it. I may be moving if so.

The casinos were all set up for it. Caesars actually spent 250k installing 15 teller windows and floor space. Then 3 months before it was a go a senator that wasn't kicked back enough put the kabosh on it.

I am told it is not going to happen for many, many years.

Is an intereszting question.

Some things to consider

1)I would guess any state that does get it, will charge prohibitive juice and will treat it as a lottery.

2)Pennsylvania at some point in the near future will be adding slots and the whisper is that Philly Park alone will have more machines than any single casino in AC.

3)In response to the PA slot news Delaware is trying to get sportsbetting

4)I think Bill Bradley is still alive and as such would spear head all efforts to prevent it, like he did last time around.

Just my opinions

Forget about spotsbetting in AC or NJ for many years. There are just too many obstacles to even list.

Local bookmakers donate about 4 million a year to elections so there will never ever be sportsbetting in NJ

JLS..

He got those figures where he gets the rest of his information... out of thin air. I heard the Bellagio is going to hire him to do a lounge act next year. "The Amazing JJ"....Prognosticator Extraordinaire".
