Resorts has 3 tables but here are the negatives:

1.Dealer deals cards face down but after hand is over everyone on table can see cards.

2.Dealer MUST hit on soft 17.

3.You cannot split anymore than once.

One positive is that the dealer will let you see (first) throw away card.

Seems incomplete. Of course everyone sees all the cards, as bets are "graded".

BJ pays 3-2 ? Double-down rules ? Table Limits ? Deck Penetration ? etc.

Will they let you count cards now? Outloud? It's the only way I can keep track of it.

Blackjack pays 6-5 not 3-2 but who cares i played an hour and half and still came out on top and didn't get anything close to a BJ.

Double down rules are same as normal blackjack.

Table limit was $500.

There were 4 other people playing besides myself and we were all playing one hand each. Basically after every 2 hands the dealer would get a new deck of cards from the machine. So there were all different amounts of cards left after each hand depending on who split and doubled down etc..

Will they let you count cars outloud??? LMAO! Probably, you know why? Because the dealer was chinese and she seemed like she barely knew English. I was asking questions left and right and no one wanted to answer.

That 6-5 payoff means that every 20 hands or so you lose 0.3 units which means every 100 hands you lose 1.5 units, so that's a 1.5% disadvantage right there. In blackjack, that's HUGE.

You need a true count of +4 just to be even with the house. That will happen about 20% of the time on the second deal, and of course never on the first. That means that one out of 10 deals you will have an advantage of on average 1% and 9 out of 10 times you will have a disadvantage of on average 2%. You therefore need a 20-1 betting spread to break even, if you play every hand, and that assumes perfect playing strategy.

This is of course not an exact calculation, just a back-of-the-envelope estimate.

Conclusion: don't expect to make money playing this game. Play it for fun like any other game, but don't be fooled into thinking you can beat it.

Seems to me like the execs in Atlantic City learned about the 6-5 game and wanted to take advantage of it. This game is worse than craps, playing the line and taking no free odds.

Single deck BJ is the EASIEST game to beat the house with. It won't last in AC, you'll see.
