I'm not going as far as I did in declaring Atl over seattle the easiest money of the year but I feel very strongly that Atl wins this game and probably by 2 scores. This is actually a bad match up for GB, the Atl D is improving at the right time and last 5 games only giving up 19, the key difference from the Dallas game is that the Atl defensive line is so much faster and more athletic that the Dallas d line, they will (at times) get to Rodgers but also pressure him more and force faster decisions, they also have a better shot at containing him in the pocket where he is less superman and more human....Rodgers will put up points but Atl D energised by a rabid hostile home crowd will make enough big plays to let their offense win it......which brings me to the other side of the ball and where GB's problems get really serious, their secondary is in tatters and the entire defense looked a spent force to me, the problems they had against Dez will be far worse this week with Julio and Sanu and Co....Ryan will utterly smoke that secondary and put up huge numbers, the run game will also be productive......I'm seeing a 38-28 type of game but no shock to me if the margin is a little greater.

We'll see which team has the ball last.

The trouble with games like these is that if you have 1 or 2 3-and-outs or turnovers, all of a sudden you're down 3 scores.

Your guess is as good as mine as to which team will jump the other.

i think a lot of people will think this way and take the +4 thinking its giving them a little buffer/comfort but i don't think it will help much, the ATL D line will do a much better job than the slower dallas one, that GB secondary is totally shot

I'm really growing in confidence about ATL, I'm thinking this margin ends up 2scores+ Falcons....it certainly will if these GB WR's and secondary players can't go....for mine GB has relied on AR brilliance and a slice of luck and it ends this week

Two of the best QB's in professional football will be going at-it Sunday and the adrenalin will be flowing in in the veins of those on (and off) the field. One win away from the promised land (the Super Bowl); The coaches won't have to give any "win one or the Gipper" pep talks, the players will come-out steaming.

NFL rules today (pass-interference infractions especially) have kept football scores close in hotly contested games right till the clock expires; Just when you think you have the game won (the spread covered) along comes the long bomb and out flies the yellow flag followed by the bitching and moaning. We all know the rest
including the inevitable on-side kick after the score. The NFL loves it, great for the ratings.

Green Bay vs Atlanta this Sunday: Right down to the wire with Ryan and Rodgers in charge with a FG winning it at the end specially with these kickers today booting 50 yarders (plus) blind-folded. Your call on the ML........Good Luck

This is true with every game in the NFL and very basic arithmetic. You have NFL players who have stated on air that a turnover in the NFL is worth 7 points (JJ Watt, Tom Brady) and you have professional betters and/or sharps saying its worth about 4 points on average. Either way, if you even taken the low end trying to make a comeback from a 12 point deficit is hard for any team(21 depending on who you believe). 3 and outs are brutal and is something that's stressed to teams by coaches just as much as turnovers and penalties. These are all things that decide the outcome of every football game so it's not going to help anyone handicap this game any better. It's kind of like the coach telling the locker room, "Ok guys. The further and further we go into the playoffs the better you have to play!" It's common sense but it's not going to help anyone.

Good luck winners. I think I lean ATL but it's close. I'm staying away from this one personally but your post made a lot of sense.

I didn't trust Atlanta last week; their soft schedule and lack of PO experience had me second guessing if they cover vs Seattle....but they proved me wrong & that was a nice win by you.

Julio is hampered by a Toe injury - I expect he will be called upon sparingly again like he was against Seattle, but if they need a big play he'll be ready.
There is more than enough fire power all around that ATL Offense to wear out the GBay Defense and win going away.

By the way this line is looking alot like Seattle last week - ATL opens way under the Power rating and is now moving up despite the Public % backing the Pack - RLM on FAV that is undervalued is Winner in my BOOKS

thanks for the well wishes guys, this week's play on ATL is nowhere near as big for me as the seattle one, mostly on account of the fact i have a sizeable wager on them at 50/1 and 66/1 for the SB as well as 10/1 to win the NFC (technically i don't need to back them at all given these futures but i still saw value in the -4)
I think they roll on to the SB but as we know anything can happen in the NFL especially with AR on the other side, GL all....go HotLANTA

4 points in a game lined 42? sure, might mean something...not in one w a 60 o/u

with you 100%..last week, when everyone was on dallas, i liked green bay, er rodgers with the points..even with nelson back, on the road, i see gb season coming to an end by dd..ryan is going to nuke that gb defense

No doubt about it Matt Ryan is at the top of his game but I suspect Aaron Rodgers will show-up with a few tricks up his sleeve. I am sure Atlanta players (and fans) would be more than elated with a 27-24 win.

Should fuel Seattle's ego if the nfc champs last two years were the ones who knocked out the seahawks

ATL going to make some noise to close out the final game ever in the Georgia dome. Need to sell them for 2 weeks as having a chance vs Brady. Gb is done.

A chance? Patriots are toast bro. 150 million % guaranteed they aren't winning a superbowl this year. I will never bet the nfl again if the patriots are the superbowl champs while covering every game. Just don't have it happening. Hold me to that.
