Game Two of the Interleague Series with Atlanta and Kansas City has a 12:10 PM EST start time today. Atlanta is looking to take today's final game and with a win will have swept four straight series the first time since May of 2000 and match a best start record since going 13-1 in 1994. Minor is 2-0 .069 ERA and has only allowed one earned run and one BB in 13 Innings Pitched this season. Today's matchup will be the first time Minor has faced the Royals. Davis is 1-0 4.00 ERA and makes his third start for Kansas City after coming over from Tampa Bay. Davis will need to reduce on his pitch count as he needed 95+ pitches to get through five innings in his last outing. Davis has faced Atlanta once with Tampa Bay where he gave up three runs. Atlanta has been getting contributions from Fransico, Upton, Heyward and Uggla on the offensive end but Braves defense with need to clean up some sloppy play to give Minor the most chances for success. Kansas City played a Tit for Tat game with Atlanta last night until a big 8th inning carried the day for the Braves. Kansas City would love to play a spoiler role today but will have to capitalize on every scoring opportunity if they hope to end Atlanta's 10 game win streak. With all the drama of the past few days, we hope everybody in Atlanta has a safe environment in which to enjoy the game. Stay safe today in Atlanta and at your favorite MLB Team Stadium if attending.
