I was very disappointed when I watched some behind the scenes stuff/ audio with Mike SMith in it.
I just dont think he is that great of a coach, and perhaps the reason this team may never win a Superbowl.......perhaps.
He isnt a bad coach by any means and his team is really talented. However, I just thought several things were very revealing in that piece. He didn't strike me as very sharp or intelligent, and looked very unsure of himself making in game calls/adjustments.
Good, you know what I am referring to. Classic example of the score being closer than the game was.
I'm not sure if you watched the ATL/Wash game, but it wasn't quite like you have stated. Everything you say about the Falcons can have be spun into Seattles season also. Should be a good game, but one would have to think the travel has to catch up with the hawks. If ATL does win by DD then you will have some crow to eat about them not being as good as you think. I think that ATL handles business at home as usual. The bad thing about it is if ATL wins then they will still get no respect because then the excuses will come out that Seattle really isn't that good....just wait until SF. It has happened all year.
Do you realize out of 16 games this year that Atlanta has faced exactly two playoff teams (Washington and Denver)? And oh by the way, if RGIII doesn't get hurt, Washington wins that game.
Aside from Denver (2nd game of the year), they beat Oakland, Carolina, Dallas, Arizona, New Orleans and the Giants. And let's be honest, Atlanta should've lost at home to Oakland and Carolina.
What do you mean I don't want to even consider they will lose? It's a total possibility for sure but face the fact man, your team isn't as good as you think they are and we all know it.
Enfuego you make a lot of good points and yes Seattle is a good football team, but I don't believe they have an edge in this game, the edge goes to Atlanta. As I said before, good luck to you anyways, neither one of these teams is my hometown team so I won't exactly be crushed if Atlanta loses. Enjoy the game bud.
Yes, I had to. My Cantor account was diminshed after the ND game and some of these bowls. Had to replenish the account and make the straight bet on ATL.
You want specific reasons, here ya go. Atl is 7-1 @ home, Seattle is 4-5 on the road, atlanta is better on 3 rd down, better in the red zone. And even though you're wrapped up in this whole ranked 20th in defense nonsense Atlanta gives up 18.7 pts a game while Seattle gives up 15.2 pts a game, not a considerable difference IMO, Seattle traveling to the east coast two weeks in a row to play a well rested Atlanta team. You're a Seattle fan and I can appreciate you not wanting to even consider the fact that your team may lose But they will lose by dd.. Gl to ya anyways enfuego..
I hear ya btd, still can't figure out how atl defense looked so damn good in the first half and couldn't stop a damn thing in the 2nd half.. I just feel lucky as hell I was on the ml.
HILARIOUS!!! You start a post saying Atl is an offensive juggernaut, Atl is going to roll and they should win by double digits something like 34-20 and you bet the MONEY LINE when Atl is giving 2 points at home. So now Atl wins by 2 and all of a sudden you are on the ML. I call bullshit because that is the squarest play in the book. On the ML for a home fav giving less than 3 in a game you think will be a double digit win???? Who in their right mind would pay for the extra juice on 2 points vs. the money line for a home fav when you are capping it as a double digit win?
