After splitting a four game Interleague Series with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Atlanta Braves return to Turner Field tonight to continue NL East Divison Play hosting the Washington Nationals. Atlanta had a season high 16 Hits in last night's game but will now have to face a National's Strasburg who is 2-0 1.17 ERA in his last three starts and only allowed three earned runs in last four outings. Strasburg 3-5 2.49 ERA overall this season is 0-1 vs. Atlanta this season but only received three runs of support in those contests. Teheran is 3-1 3.67 ERA and 3-1 2.23 ERA in his last six after posting a 7.31 ERA in his first three outings. Teheran has been especially sharp as of late going 1-0 1.20 ERA in last two games. Washington is 27-27 overall on the season and 12-16 Away Record and coming into this series dropping four of last six. Atlanta's Uggla, Heyward and BJ Upton are all now under .200 averages on the year however Uggla and Heyward usually hit Strasburg well and should be in the Atlanta Lineup tonight. Atlanta should be primed to jump back into Division Play with the rivalry with Washington but will have to find a way to pepper some hits off Strasburg. Teheran will have to continue with his growth and maturity that he has displayed for the coaches, teamates, and fans. as he takes the mound tonight in a Home Start looking to build on Atlanta's 16-6 Home Record. No love losted between these two clubs and each game will mean a whole game up or down in the standings. Atlanta Bullpen still with injuries so Teheran will have to dig a little deeper tonight but with his positive development over the season, he will welcome the challenge. Source: ESPN MLB Preview.
