I used to enjoy all-star games as a kid, but then, just like with Santa Claus, I realized they weren't real. There's nothing at stake so injury avoidance is the name of the game. I really can't understand how such a charade can be entertaining to anyone, except maybe a kid who still believes in Santa Claus.
at least hockey is going to smaller pads...
most of these pros have no passion for the game anymore which makes it boring. I say they should fire all of them and bring in kids straight out of college who love to play and pay them $100k a year. Make them earn what they're getting.
And I hate watching most sporting events anymore...I just like to make $$$ off them

You bring up an interesting point. Many of us agree that the games have become boring. How much of it is because the games HAVE become boring, and how much of it is because we don't get excited unless we have $$$ on the games?
