Every team that plays them, should hit 2 batters every game. This is going to get ugly fast.

heard one sports book set 83x for HBP against Astros....

you automatically think over.....:think2:

Probably good for MLB, controversy sells.

People will want to see the Astros in the playoffs next year against all the teams they supposedly fucked over. Especially since the tension seems to be real and legitimate across the rest of the league.

Gives the talking heads something to discuss in the baseball realm as well, which is usually pretty difficult to do since such a large percentage of the analysis about the sport can be summed up via sabermetrics/analytics.

what doesn't come up because is not popular is in baseball sign stealing from second and getting the batters attention is part of the game. However, what beat that was signaling in multiple signs. No one talks about this. The days of dropping a 1 finger for fastball is long gone. All of you think it was as simple and a 100% hit rate that some clubhouse personnel could read 4 to 5 signs rapidly and decipher which was coming. Catchers In key situations will also switch which one of those signs is the correct call. Lets also remember how much time you have from time pitch is signaled and time pitcher is in windup.

None of this justifies what the Astros were doing nor aim I taking up for them. However, it wasn't as if they were hitting off a pitching machine.

Yeah but if you know a breaking pitch is coming and it starts low....why would you ever swing?....it can’t really fool you at that point, can it?

let it bounce in the dirt. Wait for a better count in a situation they have to put the ball up. Very simple. This is why they walked so much. A pitching machine may have been less cheating lol. Sometimes those pitching machines throw unexpected curve balls. Lol at least you can’t steal the signs

I heard in game 5 of 2017 World Series at home. Dodgers were up 4-0 then 7-4. It was the wild game that Kershaw pitched in. He gave up 6 runs but they had a 4-0 lead and then a 7-4 lead with him in the game.

The Astros got back in by cheating. If the Astros lose this game they go down 3-2 in the series with 2 games at the Dodgers remaining.

Astros had to win this game. And there’s a video that shows every breaking ball that Kershaw threw in that game through 5 innings or so. And listen to this...there wasn’t one single breaking ball pitch that Clayton Kershaw threw where the Astros had a swing and miss in game 5.

down 4 and then down 3 in a World Series game against the best pitcher in the world they were not fooled once. When people cheat on tests you intentionally try to get some answers wrong. They were in no position to be able to do that.
