Actually he was an adjunct professor at the UofA. He still has a link on the university web site but the link doesn't work so maybe he got canned from there too!

Here we are all paranoid of our Government spying on us and we are doing it to ourselves with acts like this. We basically broadcast to the world on Facebook how we feel, when you end a relationship or are starting your period. We YouTube ourselves doing something we think is witty but ends up making us look like fools and we fail to use the brain to mouth filter when on twitter. J. Edgar Hoover would have a field day with all of the incriminating shit we self-media ourselves doing.
Let's see what happens when everything settles down. I suspect in the long run, it will hurt sales as their brand image will be negatively affected. If it was a publicly traded company and he said something that alienated a significant percentage of the public, he would have been fired. It's a private company, but CEOs should not be taking public stances on political issues no matter what they are.
