I am not the mod who moved this thread. I have been busy with another matter for quite some time and just now noticed the re-direct in the Offshore Forum.
I really try to avoid over-ruling any of my mods in these kind of situations. I will tell you what I will do on Friday (after my days off) I will allow Bigbet and another Rxer with at least 500 posts to have a just for the fun of it "Monster Run" against each other. We can see who will last the longest using say 5 picks a week but only 1 per day for five days with rainouts considered no action and must be made up..The two days off will allow you to skip Thursday and Monday which are often travel days leading to light schedules and not much to pick from.
A single loss ends your run but if you are ahead before the loss and the remaining player cannot pass you - you either win or tie. In the event of a tie (for example you both pick four straight winners then both lose you can start over until there is a clear cut official winner).
No wagering allowed at least any that is made public on any forum and if you do somehow bet privately do not hold The Rx responsible to insure the winner is paid.
So - if Bigbet agrees and a suitable opponent volunteers I think it could be a fun thread..Regarding the opponent - if more than one volunteers on the same date, the one with the higher post count qualifies as the second capper. This is for fun and should be conducted that way..
I will even consider a second and third round with winners advancing and losers (even if it is Bigbet retiring). Anyone who holds serve for five rounds ends the tournament and will just maybe win a $100 freeplay at an A+ book. Key word maybe.....
I will check back in this thread tomorrow night to see if anyone steps to challange Bigbet to a baseball one game a day, full 9 inning sides only with listed pitchers only capping contest.
No betting allowed on forum. Privately do what you want but leave me and The Rx.com out of it. No mods will hold funds and The Rx is not responsible for getting anyone paid.
Thanks, wil..
