As far as I'm concerned Michael Jackson was nothing but a child molester

Hate to see anyone pass at such a young age but I can't think of him as anything else. I realize he was found not guilty in our courts but from what I understand two stronger cases never made it to trial and he settled out of court for huge amounts of coin. The evidence was very strong against and I can't see why he would payout millions if he was not guilty. Thoughts???

He had more to offer the world than just being a child molester. I suppose I can separate the two - I love his music, but sure as hell wouldn't have wanted my kids hanging around Neverland.

Considering how much his trial cost him and he had to sell Neverland because of the debt, yes I can see why he paid the millions out instead of going through more trials and high paid lawyers.. Do you think anybody would have wanted to go through repeated trials that would have cost more money in the long run? I know if I had that kind of money I wouldn't have gone through it. He basically paid those people off and as far as I know didn't have anything to do with kids again, except for his own. No matter what the media said, or the people who KNEW they were going to get the money out of him because the time was right, it doesn't mean he was guilty. And so far I've never seen anybody come out with outright proof of his guilt. So no matter how you feel about him or how weird he is, his presumed guilt is still assumption, not fact.

I think that's part of the tragedy his life became. Pedophiles aren't born, they're made. That's true almost without exception. Sometimes it's because they themselves were molested and it's their way of subconciously re-enacting trauma, and sometimes it's because of other deep-seated psychological reasons. Whatever the case, Michael Jackson was a deeply disturbed person, very messed up.

I can't stand the person he became and what it seems at least somewhat likely he did, but for right now I'm just going to listen to some old Jackson 5 and think about how good he COULD have been.

For all of his deep psychological problems that he's had the last 30 years with his morphing into something completely different looking, his immediate family should have stepped in a long time ago before all of this took place. I know he was a grown man, but this strange behavior had been going on since he was 20. The only reason I can think of why nobody around him said anything is because his family is probably as dysfunctional as he was.

Maybe you're right dude. You do make some very valid points. I guess when all that was going down it really bothered me and I only have what I hear or read to base to my assumption on.

I agree to an extent.... just the mere fact he had strange kids sleeping in his bed , whether he touched them or not is WEIRD he also admited to having a camera in his bedroom hallway...come on

You don't have children sleeping in your bed. It is inappropriate even if he didn't touch any of them. Just because he was famous doesn't mean the rules didn't apply to him.

Larry King said he overheard the lawyers prosecuting MJ that it was a sham to get money out of him. Let's get real people..the moonwalker never molested any kids. Grow up and stop buying into every little thing you hear. Like lemmings some people are nowadays.

That's the same stuff I think of. Just the thought of him hanging out in his bed with those children was indeed enough to make me very upset.

Get over it people. He never harmed a kid. Those parents would sell their kids, which they basically did to extort money from MJ.

Those parents are despicable people and I would not put it past them to pimp out their kids further to get money.

I had basically the same discussion with a friend today, he could have imported kids by the crate if he really wanted to, why would he invite entire families over just to fondle junior's nads.

I think GoSooners and Steak Tartar summarized the situation very well.

I believe one of the parents was heard on tape (from memory, could be wrong), "I got him, we are going to cash in."

I do believe if he was as guilty as some believe, many people would have distanced themselves from him.

well, we don't *actually* know if he was a child molester.. in fact, plenty of evidence suggests otherwise, including his psychological profile from one of the top leaders in the field.

but what we *do* know, however, is that you (kind sir) have admitted to committing long-term adultery during your prior marriage.. correct?

just sayin' since the judgments are flying 'round and all.

I doubt he is the biological father of his own two "kids." They look 100% white. Doesn't anyone think it is weird that he basically purchased two kids?
