If you weren't so worried about Manning beating the Pats for the fourth straight time you wouldn't be celebrating in such a ridiculous manner.
fourth straight time?
Who won in November?
Keep in mind Manning is still only 3-7 vs Pats.

All kidding aside, I'm not sure we'll have our horse come Sunday... our franchise moments are few and far between, so when nearly 10,000 people showed up at an impromptu rally to greet the buses back at Chargers' park, it has to be duly noted that LT had a very stern and concerned look on his face as he strode off the bus. Since it was reported as a bruise, we'll have to see.

But like we always say, if you can't get in there and play in this the most important game of your career right now, how do you think you can be ready by next week. You are in the game unless you are not capable, so these injuries have to be considered relatively significant.

Rivers is still a favorite whipping boy here whenever he has a semi-regular lackluster game, but certainly the local critics here are quiet today after his performance over the first three quarters. He was limping considerably when getting of the bus. And he was obviously lipping considerably after the game. As far as Volek is concerned, he came under fire from the fans here for an early season appearance when Rivers left a game with an injury. Few fans here even realize that he once turned in that near-500-yard effort with the Titans, something only a handful of quarterbacks have ever done in the history of the game.

The Patriots have it coming to them, but you know how they say sometimes a team "shoots it's load," hopefully this wasn't it for San Diego.

Despite what has been said in the thread regarding the line... and agreed, how can the line even be available right now considering the injury situation, but I'd probably lay it before I would take it. Still, anyway, go Chargers!!!

This team and this franchise needs this. We are in a battle for a new stadium because our town is broke and can't afford it. They can't seem to get the idea that they could have a one billion dollar Super Bowl here every five years if they would just build a 70,000-seat stadium.

Sunday's win puts them in the same situation they were in 13 years ago, as they were double-digit underdogs when they traveled to play Pittsburgh.

The Patriots are trying to put their stamp on the greatest season ever and are much better than that Steelers team, however, this Chargers team has to be considered maybe far better than the Chargers that featured the stars on that given Sunday... Junior Seau, Natrone Means, Tony Martin, Dennis Gibson and Stan Humphries.

What a great relief for the Pats to know they can make their plans for Glendale. They must be resting easy tonight knowing that the beat up San Diego team is coming in and they already rolled them earlier in the season.

Belicheat can scheme for the Packers/Giants winner and spend extra time getting ready for the Bowl.

What a break for the Patriots. They must be considering themselves lucky not to have to face the mighty Colts.

A break for the Patriots....yeah right......Didn't the mighty Colts lose to the Chargers today.:WTF:

I think SD is a tough team. But it will be very hard for them to come back across country to win a game in the freezing cold with a team that is bitter about losing the AFCG last year and also knows its on the verge to make history.
Belichick vs, Turner?

The other thing with the Chargers is that I think they are imature and will get caught up with the hoopla that this week entails.

Al this past week we had to listen about the realy realy really really physical Jaguars were going to run it down the Patriots throat.
Well Maroney had more rushing yards than the Jags team did.
For all the critisism the Pats defense gets they only gave up 20 points to the Jags who scored only two points less than the Pats the second half of the season.

You're right. Doubt SD makes the trip at all. SD has double revenge. The immaturity part will have to change if they are to win though.

Brady's two incompletions were easily catchable (especially the one to Welker in the 4th quarter). No matter, The Patriots took the Jags' best punch and still won the game without a lot of drama. Winning the second half 17-6 tells you a lot about this team and the way they play football.

Colts or Bolts - bring em on next week...

Pats vs NFC.

Natrually they swept their four NFC games as they are undefeated but what sticks out is the four teams they beat The entire NFC East. Dallas, Washington (crushed them) Eagles and Giants. Three playoff teams and don't be fooled a still very competitive Eagles team..

The Packers will be fodder in the balmy Glendale Arizona weather on February 3rd. to an unstopable Patriot attack..I give the Chargers a better shot at beating New England than I do the if they get their Packers beating the if they get their Patriots in the Super Bowl...

Just my opinion - take it FWIW..

Chargers haven't done bad at all playing in Foxboro. If they're healed it will be a great game.

No disrespect at all bagiant to the Chargers. They have rebounded this year nicely. I have a lot of respect for them. They got their work cut out for them this week though.

lmao..you got that right. But you might be forgetting one thing. WE HATE THEM. After what they said especially LT after last year, we despise that baby. And won't forget his mean words. It will be a war and tough game.

imo this patriot team knows they are too close to doing the unthinkable...19-0...with this game at home and then 2 weeks to prepare for the SB, its gonna be tough to knock them off...look at indy yesterday they got EVERY call in the books, i dont wanna say the fix is in and its not fair but gun to head id say if 1 team would get the benefit from the zebra's it would be the pats at home....the thread were bountiful across the sports forums yesterday after the indy officiating....im sure SD knows they most likely dont have to beat the pats but also the refs...we will see...

They are a bunch of crybaby immature punks that call themselves classy...and the media believes it.
That being said they overcame a lot against the Colts/refs...we know the feeling.
They are tough and can beat the Pats but they'll have to overcome a lot again including travel and weather they'l have to deal with.

Jammer was out last meeting. Sd very live dog here. I think PAck underrated too. JAck was right there but Northcutt dropped game tying td in the 4th and then missed fg. I think sd has much better pass catchers

Didnt 32-0 running rebels lost the semi to duke

VERY LIVE??? Easy there Railbird. Pats are beatable no doubt about it but you will need to score a lot of points to do it. I doubt it is the Chargers.

That UNLV team I think of a lot as a comparison. The difference is when they got near losing they panicked. It was like, "OH MY GOD WE CAN LOSE"...Pats will not be like that for 2 reasons. First of all we have already been there in tight games a few times and survived. Also we have Tom Brady...the man just gets it done under pressure too.

I don't picture TB lumping up with two chances to score late with all your TO's.

You just had to say that huh? LOL. I hear you. I hear you.

Different teams and situations and I like Manning but this is not the first time as a big home favorite they failed.

Whore,

I don't go to rallies for AFC Divisional Playoff wins.

Win this one and I will consider it. I was at the rally with 70,000 others the night after we beat the Steelers. We were so high and drunk.

Ah, to be young again.
