Well, I had not totally dismissed the possibility of

Not sure of the attendance tomorrow afternoon as we were relying on cash flow from Dee's 5/15 check which would normally have been at her employer today - her last day there.

But the office mailed it instead.

Mail comes in about 2pm and meanwhile I can shake down a couple of my accounts that owe me.

Might also just fade it entirely and go to local sports pub for Happy Hour and eat/drink while watching it on big screen and then catch up with live games on next stand when White Sox blow in.

If the Rays win tomorrow, that ties the season series at 5-5. Perhaps we can enter into another friendly wager for the remaining games. ??? Not sure how the road/home plays out.

Also has good relationship with upper management who has tried in vain to have her stay on board.

Reasons for leaving are more complex (nothing horrendous..just smart business)...will drop you an e on that.

Didn't get to our seats until top of third inning due to a very large (for TBR) walk up crowd jamming us up and we couldn't get parked until just after first pitch.

Was third row up from Yankees bullpen and I utterly shamed myself just minutes after arrival.

Iwamura came up for second PA and popped one foul over the dugout. I lean over and remind Dee, "We're in a pretty good spot for slicing foul balls".

Next pitch Aki slices a liner directly at my face

And I am not making this up. I stood up, raised my hands and it went right between them and smacked the empty seat directly behind me. I spun and tried to grab it, but the dude in the next row back leaned over and scooped it up.

I was like third row up above the "Corona Beach Bar" area which is at end of left field line and distinctive by its wooden tables and stools.

Bald guy in front of me with a "Jeter" shirt on

Couple of DRay fan jagoffs two rows back (one of them got that ball).

They were drinking a lot and about once an inning let out with a "Hey DAMON...You sniff Jeter's ASS!" type yells which were kind of a drag

Those jagoffs probably didn't know much about baseball either...they are at every ballpark. Drunk idiots, talking shit, but don't know dick about the game (I'm talking true knowledge of how the game is played or its history).
