Artie wants everyone to know a couple of things.

1. That Angels sale more tickets than Dodgers
2. That he is a succesfull Mexican here in America

The truth is he doesnt sale tickets, he GIVES them away. Of the 40000 fans tonight 20K were given away.

Angel fans dont know anything about baseball, they go to the stadium to get a free rally monkey or to see firework show. Walkup ticketsales are ZERO if the fans dont get a free monkey.

Most fans are fairweather fans. The Dodgers are just as guilty as they are well-known for their 7th innings walkouts.
Marlin fans are even more fickle as they shamefully won't support their team.

Does the team make money? That's what matters, no? If he can't possibly sell the tickets, then he's smart to give some away. 20,000 extra butts in the seats means $$$ spent on concessions, etc. Plus it gets new people to the stadium who may come back if they enjoy the experience. More teams should be that smart in terms of getting butts in the seats whatever it takes.

Hmmmm, it must be hard to scalp tickets if the owner is giving them away.... I wonder if that has anything to do with Rail's attitude? LMAO!

Railturd is a complete hand job, anything he says should be taken with a grain of salt. The Angels drew more then 3 million fans last year, and will draw more then that this year. Moreno is a very fan friendly owner, he should be applauded not buried. For christ sakes the guy lowered beer prices!!!!

Angels lie by 5-7 K a game. Beer prices were lowered from 8.50 to 6.75, the same stale tap beer you can get at 7-11 for 99cents.

Winky stick to stuff you know, like going 2-15 in Big West games and cheering for Rapists. For every group ticket you buy you get 1 free, not to mention every church, government agency, school, youth foundation, boys girls club, with in a 100 mile radius gets free tickets on a daily basis.

Rail doesn't like Moreno because he's Hispanic,he's f*cked up Rail's ticket scalping enterprise and he spells a lot better than Railbird does. The fact that he's fan friendly and has improved the Angels seems to go unoticed by our resident racist.

Sounds like more teams, like the White Sox, should do this. An owner makes NO money with an empty seat. Even if he lets fans in at half-price, or comp, he will make money at the concession stands. Sounds like great marketing. Maybe the Dodgers can learn a little something from this.

That Cubs-Angels series in June should be like Christmas for Rail.
