Waiting on this game to get a better line, I see a lot of people slamming this Texas line. On a historically close scoring game, I see Arkansas going out with a bang (last year to have Texas on their schedule). No i'm not saying Arkansas is going to win, but keep it close, yes.

Latest hurrican predictions have it coming to Corpus Christi Saturday morning.....with 6-9 inches of rain predicted for Austin that afternoon. As much as I back my Horns (2-0 ATS this season), Arkansas does play TEXAS tough. I'm liking the under early, as the TEXAS defense is still underrated.

If I play this game, the under would have to be considered a play. Hurricane Ike is going to not only affect Austin, it's going to affect the entire state of Texas. And since Texas plays on natural grass, it could be a very messy game if that much rain actually hits the area...

Texas defense has been less than stellar against the pass. Passing is the strongest part of Arky's game. Texas might have to score over 40 points to cover this spread. And I doubt that happens in the very messy weather they're going to have in Austin this weekend.

And just 2 years ago unranked Arkansas went on the road to Auburn, AL and beat Muschamp's defense and #2 ranked Auburn 27-10.

Texas will whoop our ass, but it isn't going to be because of Muschamp's defense. It will be because of the Razorback's lack of a defense.

That isn't why it isnt a big rivalry anymore. It is because we left the SWC and have played texas 3 times in the last 17 years.

The rivalry is respected by both sides, but it is not an active one.
