I know what you mean. I haven't bet on them in over 3 years. It's the organization. It's owned by the Bidwill family. The NFL Cardinals is one of the worst franchises in the history of North American sports.
I thought there might be some hope since Bill Bidwill's son Michael has been showing more of an interest in winning but not much has really happened so far.
Betting aside.....I enjoy them as a team. Id like to see them turn a corner but they never do. Then in big games like today, they fight tooth and nail then fumble, or commit a penalty or fail to cover a fumble or something like that and never seem to catch a break to get over that hump, then shortly after they regress for the season.
They never make it easy. What a dumb defensive all there. I guess they were playing for the hail mary as Barber takes a swing pass 70 yards for a TD. Only Arizona. Coaches need to emphasize closing & discipline...premature celebrating. Now they are in a dog fight again & must get a first down. Just sad.
OUCH...was at local sports pub with The SheBar watching the end of this one and though I had no $$ at stake in any way, I told her, "The Over bettors are changing their pants and the Under bettors are going off to the bedroom closet and staring hard at those dress blues neatly pressed and hanging just below the box containing the loaded .38"
