ARIZONA at home vs. 49ERS: The most tantalizing -275 money line ever?

Earlier in the week I saw this in the -230's at places. It seems absolutely amazing to me. A playoff team at home vs. one of the worst teams in the league that might win 5 games all season if they're lucky.

Arizona could lose the turnover battle by 3 and they'd probably still win by 3 points in a tight game.


Of course, this is the NFL and anything can happen, but the 49ers getting down by 26 points at HT last week is probably the true identity of this San Francisco team that will appear several times this year.... getting absolutely dusted in the process.

Division game, anything can happen. And it's not like SF is some cupcake team, they have owned Zona in recent years.

Az 2-8 vs this team the past 5 years.

I'd tread lightly, these games are usually close.

Not really disagreeing that Arizona should win, but what exactly have they done to be considered world beaters? They beat possibly the worst two teams in the NFC right now, in Chicago & New Orleans. San Fran looked great against the Vikings & like crap against the Steelers, but I'd imagine they're real value lies somewhere in between.

I think Carson is like 15-2 as a starter for Arizona and they're 9-0 at home with him.... something like that.

Anyways, I'm not sold on this 29ers team. They have management hell-bent on destroying this team and they are well on their way.

I say they lose today and their next 3 games.... and all of a sudden are 1-5 on the season.

I know it's a division game and Zona's recent record against the 29ers is shit, but that was during the Harbaugh era. Harbaugh is gone and this is now the 29ers era. Hell, how many times was Harbaugh down by 26 pts at half time after having given up 29 at half time?

My contention is that the 29ers will be one of the jokes of the league this year.... and this game will be looked back on as a freebie....

I respect your opinion, but how can we ever say that one of the worst teams in the league (with an organization going south) playing on the road at a likely playoff team ... is a live play today?

The only thing I can come up with is "this is the NFL" and "any given Sunday".

I don't think it's fair to say that they are one of the worst teams in the league at this point. In the end you might be right, but right now, I find it hard to read this team with two performances being two extremes.

What about Philly +3 this morning. All I kept seeing was how the Jets defense would make the Jets the play. And, if you are going to play a big moneyline, find another moneyline to make a two team parley if you see another moneyline play you like. That cuts your losses, although you need two winners. Even taking seattle moneyline would reduce the amount you would have to risk just taking arizona on the moneyline.

Last piece of advice. The niners are looking for Kap to run more, not holding him back anymore. This could open things up for the niners
