Argentine coach is pure trash and Argentina will show extremely poorly in World Cup.

:toast:

what a resume for CR7

what would Man U's trophy case look like if he hadn't left?

He said after the game he is unsure of his future.....wants that renewed Real contract til he's like 38 years old. Right before he goes to the MLS.

Scary thing is this team actually needs a revamp as they have become complacent compared to even a year & a half ago when they were leaps & bounds ahead of every team in the world. Their lackluster LaLiga campaign (how dominant are you when finishing 3rd is considered bad). I doubt this team will look the same within a few months.

However VIVA REAL MADRID!!!!

When it comes to Argentina, you almost have to always bet against them especially when getting more than a goal as they do not play up to their talent.

For Argentina to get out of this group & advance, they need a few things to happen.

#1Iceland ties or loses to Nigeria tomorrow.

#2 Croatia then needs to beat or tie Iceland.

#3 Argentina needs to beat Nigeria.

Bold call at the time, but OP hit the nail on the head...they look awful and uninspired. Their group was fairly weak, and they may not earn a single point.

They have been in disarray for a long time. Almost didn't qualify.

Their coach is absolute trash. I enjoy reading Maradona's comments as he tears up the guy's asshole in the media non-stop. To top it off, the guy has Higuain riding the pine and Dybala collecting dust on the bench. Higuain is an absolute assassin.

It was like the Peru coach. He fucking sat their star player for 60 minutes in their opening game. They lose that game and they face powerhouse France in the next game. Great coach but zero brain cells on that one.

Rule #1 in most sports is you put your horses in the fuckign game. It's the #1 reason why sporting franchises will brush homicides under the rug if their player axes somebody to death on the weekend or in the offseason..... b/c they need their studs in the game so they can win.

I've seen Hall of Fame coaches just fucking straight up quit coaching b/c they lost their horses and would be coaching a team of scrubs ... only to return later when the deck is stacked again so they could win like they did in the past.

Uruguay also looks like shit. Maybe they'll miracle their way through games somehow, but at least they have advanced.

The Modric goal was outstanding.

On an international level, Messi is a choker. Can't handle the pressure.

If Iceland wins tomorrow over Nigeria, say goodbye to Argentina.

He's been given too much responsibility. A man can only do so much... especially in soccer. I think they overachieved in the last World Cup.... but it is what it is.

You hire a piece of trash coach, you get trash results. I'd have to look into the guy who pulls the strings for Argentina... the guy is dirty as fuck. And I'm pretty sure he brought in Samp. But at least he got them a first class plane to travel to Russia with...

Great call man. Major props.

Got any insight on a good play from here on out? I don't follow this shit whatsoever...

Honestly, I'm getting killed left and right... but what's new?

Anyways, I would imagine Brazil breaks out tomorrow. Costa Rica will get 0 or 1 goal tomorrow. Brazil is too potent and they are in an important situation. Even if CR scores the first goal, I'd expect Brazil to still win at least 2-1. Brazil getting 2 or more.

The S.American teams have done poorly, but Brazil is the best of them by a margin. Problem is what are you going to do with a -450 money line? Not much.

I think if you wait 15 minutes it'll drop to maybe -300... but even that's expensive. So it's a shit play although I'm pretty convinced they'll win.

I know the faves have been getting slaughtered, but I fully expect Brazil to deliver tomorrow.

As for other plays... I see nothing. If someone is regular picking winners this Cup, more power to them.
