Blake Bortles, the QB for Jacksonville, is pretty good. He's big, tall, has a strong arm and can run the ball if needed. He also has 3 very good wide receivers. As far as the Bears go, statistically they have a lot of yards accumulated on offense but very few points to show for it because they can't score in the red zone and they commit a shitload of penalties when they get close to the goal line. I know they have a lot or injuries but the players who are healthy and playing are not being coached and trained properly. I'm not very impressed at all with John Fox. The Bears should have made a better choice for their coach in my opinion.
The line was 2.5 prior to last week and now -1. I've never been high on Bortles. Not good at reading def and not very accurate. Becomes gun shy after throwing inta.He gets bailed out by the immense talent at wr. The off was stymied week 2 when they had to play SD who at that time had a very good secondary. Team looked bad offensively for most of the game vs an avg Chi def and should have lost.
This week they get a team that doesn't play any defense. One of the most underrated players in the league is Chris Ivory. Imo he's just a better player all around than TJ Yeldon. He's now 2 weeks removed from whatever hopitalised him and will be facing a def giving up almost 5ypc. Seems plausible he will be used early and effectively to open up the passing game.

Something's not right with Aaron Rodgers on Green Bay. I think it's his mechanics. Same thing happened to Drew Brees of the Saints but he found a way to correct the problem. If Rodgers makes some adjustments and gets back on track for Thursday's game, the Bears will be in for a real long night.
