Spring line was a pickem game

Do you think Oakland (4-2) or Jacksonville (2-3) has had a more impressive season.

Also can you believe the bears have better passing attacking than the packers

Blake Bortles, the QB for Jacksonville, is pretty good. He's big, tall, has a strong arm and can run the ball if needed. He also has 3 very good wide receivers. As far as the Bears go, statistically they have a lot of yards accumulated on offense but very few points to show for it because they can't score in the red zone and they commit a shitload of penalties when they get close to the goal line. I know they have a lot or injuries but the players who are healthy and playing are not being coached and trained properly. I'm not very impressed at all with John Fox. The Bears should have made a better choice for their coach in my opinion.

Something's not right with Aaron Rodgers on Green Bay. I think it's his mechanics. Same thing happened to Drew Brees of the Saints but he found a way to correct the problem. If Rodgers makes some adjustments and gets back on track for Thursday's game, the Bears will be in for a real long night.

Oakland is 3-0 on road so far with wins at New Orleans, Tennessee, and Baltimore. Carr has a 65% completion rate with only pick on road too. Jacksonville is such an enigma. Other than at San Diego they could have beat both GB and Baltimore. Tough game to cap.

Jags or nothing imo. Del Rio will choke in this game...he is already starting to get over confident with all this going for it on 4th down. As a defensive minded coach, that's a good way to show your defense you have no faith in them. They are going to lose at least one of these next two games for sure. Either to jags or Tampa. I like san fran this week vs Tampa

Bears will be 3-13 this year. They are so bad. All this hoyer love is laughable. Only reason fox got another head coaching gig so fast was because peyton manning carried his ass to success. The year they went with Carolina, he had possibly one of the best front fours of all time.

From STAT FOX Play on- Favorites (JACKSONVILLE) - after covering the spread in 2 out of their last 3 games, a bad team (25% to 40%) playing a team with a winning record. • The situation’s record is 42-14 since 1983 (75.0%, +26.6 units).

Jacksonville Defense > Oakland Defense ....strength is Pass d
Oakland holds a +9 TO differential.

THURSDAY NIGHT INFO:

Divisional Dogs are now 22-4 on the year ...they have avg'd around 53% the last 3 years
Spring line was -9 yet GBAY has dropped 4 points in Power rating differential
Real line is -16
Line down to -8 66% on packers

The line was 2.5 prior to last week and now -1. I've never been high on Bortles. Not good at reading def and not very accurate. Becomes gun shy after throwing inta.He gets bailed out by the immense talent at wr. The off was stymied week 2 when they had to play SD who at that time had a very good secondary. Team looked bad offensively for most of the game vs an avg Chi def and should have lost.

This week they get a team that doesn't play any defense. One of the most underrated players in the league is Chris Ivory. Imo he's just a better player all around than TJ Yeldon. He's now 2 weeks removed from whatever hopitalised him and will be facing a def giving up almost 5ypc. Seems plausible he will be used early and effectively to open up the passing game.

Robinson has been a massive disappoint so far. Dropped a TD pass vs Colts and another last week vs. Bears which actually turned into an INT. Would expect Bortles to improve as I think Ivory is starting to get it going in the running game.

Well, with no running game to speak of tonight, I guess he better figure it out quick.

Over game...West Coast to East Coast has that higher tendency to go that route for the 1pm games. Last week it was San Francisco @ Buffalo and LA Rams @ Detroit.

Teams:
Seattle
San Fran
Oakland
San Diego
LA Rams
Arizona (maybe, not far enough west)
Denver (maybe, not far enough west)

Jags or nothing for me
Jaguars defense has made a big improvement.
the secondary has been solid.
I think Oakland struggles to move the ball this week.
combo in the West to East travel.
id say the odds makers got the line right.
Jags aren't a public team so that explains the Oakland love.

Jags have favorable matchups vs The Raiders .
i think Bortles , Robinson, Hurns, Lee , Thomas , Ivory , & Yeldon are all playable in
DFF or league play.
Bottom line for me is I fully expect the Jaguars to score often this week.

Best of luck with your play
