I think the closest results yesterday would be a dog and a push. Kings covered by 1, never saw a 5. Heat took advantage of one of Indy's patented end of game fades, but again missed last shot for complete cover. Push is probably what happened to most. I had some 11 1/2, so was lucky there. Today is a new day, and the Lakers are up first. This is the one pivotal game in the series, so far. If Lakers lose this, it should be a sweep. They will be doing everything to avoid that. Some ATS numbers to consider. Spurs 5-1 ATS, 1 loss game #3 in Memphis, by 1 point. They were not dogs. 1H, Spurs again 5-1 ATS, and same loss, game #3. interested note, Spurs up at 1H by double digits, each 5 wins. Lakers sinking to 3-4 ATS, dropping both to Spurs. Lakers 1H, miserable 2-5 ATS. Lakers just get out of gate slow, quite often. Very tough game as it is difficult to get read on Lakers after dumping first two. Do they think series is over, even subconcsiously? Seed of doubt for sure. Not so sure Lakers are good closers as Spurs have wore them out, twice, at end of games. Lakers stuck around against Rockets, waited for them to collapse. That does not work against Spurs. Last two meaningful games between these two resulted in changing of the guard game#6 last year, Spurs won by 20 something. Regular season for homefield, Spurs by single digits, but not that close. Spurs seem to have advantages everywhere, especially depth and quickness. Plus fast breaks, transition defense, set offense. Lakers still lack a cohesive gameplan, freelance and fail. Too late for Phil to get them to listen now. Mitten and Malone has actually taken away from this squad. I will take T and T vs. M and M every game. Bought my numbers early, getting some +5-05 and some 4 1/2. Lakers are probably 10 points better at home, but have been losing by 10. Spurs have no fear on road, own NBA record 8 wins on one road trip, record will not be beat in my lifetime. If this was not the Lakers last gasp, I would really be all over it. But with Spurs weaker effort in last series game #3, and Jack ready to bully officials, will keep this play moderate. Also pass on 1H, better to watch for me. Was good to see the numbers actually close to the results yesterday. Looking for first dog to cover here. Best wishes...OF

IMO, rock solid S.A. rates a big chance to repeat but I'm passing this game. The always "generous" Books are laying 4 , 4.5, and 5. Why not 6? Heck, make it 10. S.A. is the NBA's second best ATS team, head case L.A. is second worst. Instincts tell me L.A. will cover, which IMO, defies sound reasoning. This may be a case for Wil and his crackpot investigative team.

vegassportpics, respect your opinion, looks like a value dog for me. I have to play it, but with backs against the wall Lakers, I adjust downward, on the size of the position. Possible Lakers 2nd half. With crazy 14-1 sweep, +450 in five, have some value there. Been saying same thing since before series started, Spurs sweep, 5 if Lakers get this one. Best Wishes on your spots...OF

OF, I'll be interested to see how it plays out. I'm with you. If this was game seven, I'd be on Spurs bigtime. But it's game three, home team's back is to the wall. But they had their backs to the wall at home in game six last season. And promptly threw in the towel. I'm basically lost on this game. Hope you nail your plays!

My opinion on Spurs/lakers has the spurs in a great spot here being +4 and maybe better at tip-off with the line being inflated....the public perception on this game has the lakers needing a win hence the inflated line...
