Synopsis

Director Carl Franklin and actor Denzel Washington team up again (following 1995's Devil in a Blue Dress) for the crime thriller Out of Time. Washington stars as Matt Lee Whitlock, the well-respected chief of police in a quiet Florida community. While in the process of getting a divorce from fellow detective Alexandra (Eva Mendez), Matt engages in an affair with his high school sweetheart Anne (Sanaa Lathan). Unfortunately, Anne is married to the extremely jealous Chris (Dean Cain), a former pro football player who works as a security guard. After a major murder occurs in the community, Matt finds himself the main suspect. With the help of his medical examiner pal Chae (John Billingsley), Matt must solve the case before he is found guilty himself. Out of Time premiered at the 2003 Toronto Film Festival. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, All Movie Guide

Dangerous Liasons (1987) is phenomenal. It came on the UPN affil out here in Chesapeake during the Divisional Playoffs and I started watching it instead of the games. It is that damned good.

Malkovic, Keanu, Uma, Glenn Close and Pfiefer (sp?) are the stars. Most people I know haven't seen it and it is a recommendation I frequently give.

Im watching Carlitos Way and Scarface tonight myself. I enjoyed Out Of Time because it was very predictable, but when i watched it the second time around its like im watching the movie in reverse because you know what already happens but you can enjoy the characters facial expressions and lines much better. For example when Denzel and Dean have a drink at the bar im thinking Denzel is laughing at Dean because he's sleeping with his wife, then its Dean who's getting the last laugh because he knows this and he plays Denzel. Im experiencing something like this right now in my life with the given situation im in. You see everyone around me think they're smarter then me but its me who's two steps ahead of them and im playing them

. I guess you can say after i finished watching the movie it made me think maybe the person im involved with has the same intentions as the female character in the movie, and now im looking and listening to my lady friend with more cautious

. Sometimes you never know what womens intentions are

Gigli sucks in the same way Ishtar did. Its worse than a bad skin rash. J-Lo the dyke LOL. Benny boy gives contract killers a bad name. Best scene in the movie is when J-Lo's enraged and jilted lover slashes both her wrists to show her love.

Angelle.... Check out "Red Vioin" with Samuel Jackson. Also, if you haven't seen "Unbreakable" with Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson, check that one out too. It's done by the same director that did "6th Sense." You won't be disappointed.
